appellation, for many years in the shadow of its grander neighbour Vouvray.
Clean, crisp yellow peach and mandarin notes with a steely acidity and flinty
finish. For lovers of Chablis and dry Riesling.

Put aside any preconceptions about Zinfandel - this is dense, rich and moreish but
also incredibly elegant. Silky smooth and packed full of cassis, chocolate and
dried red fruit; but with a firm fresh finish.

Neighbour to the higher-profile names of Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-
Musigny, Morey-St-Denis often flies under the radar. This is densely structured,
with savoury leather and spice and a great concentration of fruit.

Gruaud-Larose produce some of the most substantial wines in Saint-Julien, and
2000 is no exception. The nose is packed full of dark fruit, cedar and leather, the
palate is concentrated and dense. Still fresh, aided by slower development in
magnum. A rare treat.
