la saison 2019
La ligue s’agrandit de 17 à 21 membres avec l’apparition

La saison inaugurale de la NBA 2K League a débuté en mai 2018

et rassemble les 102 meilleurs joueurs de NBA 2K dans le
monde, répartis en 17 équipes. Les 17 semaines de compétition
sont composées de rencontres hebdomadaires, de trois tournois
additionnels et se terminent avec les NBA 2K Playoffs, qui
débutent ce samedi 18 août à minuit heure de Paris. Les
premières finales de NBA 2K League auront lieu le samedi 25
août à 22h heure de Paris. Toute la compétition est diffusée
en streaming et en direct sur la plateforme Twitch et se
déroule au sein des studios NBA 2K League développés par
Intel, à New York.
Les 17 équipes originelles de la NBA 2K League sont les
suivantes : 76ers GC, Blazer5 Gaming, Bucks Gaming, Celtics

La NBA a publié vendredi dernier son calendrier de diffusion
pour la saison 2018-19 qui débutera le 16 octobre 2018 et se
terminera le 10 avril 2019…

Pour la 5ème année consécutive la NBA offre à ses fans
européens des matchs en Prime-Time à 21h30 au travers des NBA
Sundays et également des NBA Saturdays pour la deuxième saison
consécutive face au succès de ces soirées lors de la saison
précédente.

Ainsi, ce sont 42 matchs en Prime-Time qui seront diffusés
cette année, un nombre record.
En France, les matchs sont diffusés sur beIN Sports et sur le
NBA league pass.

LONDON, Aug. 10, 2018 – The 2018-19 NBA regular season will
feature a record 42 games in primetime in Europe as part of
the league’s NBA Saturdays’ and NBA Sundays’ Europe-wide
primetime initiative it was announced today. The NBA’s full
regular season schedule was released today, with the 73rd
regular season tipping off on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, and
concluding on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
This marks the fifth season of ‘NBA Sundays’ providing fans
with a weekly live primetime game on Sunday evenings (starting

from 9.30pm CET) in Europe. Following the success of ‘NBA
Sundays’, the 2018-19 season will see the return of ‘NBA
Saturdays’ for the second consecutive season which features
games starting at 11.00pm CET from December.
With weekend primetime games throughout the regular-season,
fans in Europe will see some of the league’s biggest stars,
including the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James, the Golden
State Warriors’ Kevin Durant, the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis
Antetokounmpo and the Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid in
primetime.
As part of today’s full 2018-19 NBA regular season schedule
announcement, opening-night will see a doubleheader featuring
the Philadelphia 76ers visiting the Boston Celtics and the
defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors hosting the
Oklahoma City Thunder. An additional highlight of the 2018-19
season for fans in Europe sees the New York Knicks take on the
Washington Wizards at The O2 in the NBA’s ninth regular-season
game in London.
NBA programming and games are seen in 215 countries and
territories in 50 languages.

Week 7: Phoenix Suns at L.A. Lakers (Sunday, Dec. 2, 9.30 p.m.
CET) – The Suns featuring 2018 number one draft pick Deandre
Ayton taking on LeBron James and the new-look L.A. Lakers.
Week 14: Oklahoma City Thunder at Philadelphia 76ers
(Saturday, Jan. 19, 9.30 p.m. CET) – Russell Westbrook, Paul
George and the Thunder go head-to-head with the 76ers
featuring Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
Week 17: San Antonio at Utah (Saturday, Feb. 9, 11.00 p.m.
CET) – The reigning Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert
and the Jazz host DeMar DeRozan and his new team the Spurs.
Week 20: Houston Rockets at Boston Celtics (Sunday, Mar. 3,
9.30p.m. CET) – The 2018 Western Conference Finalist Rockets

Basketball Association (NBA), the International Basketball
Federation (FIBA) and the Basketball Federation of Serbia
announced today the full roster of current and former NBA,
WNBA, G-League and FIBA players and coaches who will take part
in Basketball Without Borders Europe 2018. The 17th edition of
BWB Europe will also feature 63 of the top boys and girls ages
17 and under from 25 European countries.
BWB Europe 2018 will feature a number of current NBA and WNBA
players including Boban Marjanovic (L.A. Clippers, Serbia);
and Nik Vucevic (Orlando Magic, Montenegro) who will be
joining the previously announced Nemanja Bjelica (Sacramento
Kings, Serbia); Bogdan Bogdanovic (Sacramento Kings, Serbia);
Gary Harris (Denver Nuggets, USA); Nikola Jokic (Denver
Nuggets, Serbia) and Frank Kaminsky (Charlotte Hornets,
USA/Serbia). WNBA players Ana Dabovic (L.A. Sparks, Serbia)
and Sonja Petrovic (Phoenix Mercury, Serbia) will also
participate in the camp.
Sacramento Kings’ General Manager Vlade Divac (Serbia) will
join Radoslav « Rasho » Nesterovic (Slovenia); Bruno Sundov
(Croatia); and Dragan Tarlac (Serbia), who took part in the
inaugural 2001 BWB Europe camp in Treviso, Italy.

Additional former players taking part in BWB Europe 2018
include Zarko Cabarkapa (Serbia/Montenegro); Predrag Drobnjak
(Montenegro); Gordan Giricek (Croatia); Bostjan « Boki »
Nachbar (Slovenia); Zarko Paspalj (Serbia); Aleksandar

(Golden State Warriors) who will join the previously announced

Gregg Popovich (San Antonio Spurs), Popeye Jones (Indiana
Pacers) and Jacques Vaughn (Brooklyn Nets).

Marin Sedlacek (Philadelphia 76ers, Serbia) and Patrick Hunt
(President of the World Association of Basketball Coaches,
Australia), will serve as Camp Directors with Drew Yoder
(Golden State Warriors) joining as Athletic Trainer.

The first-ever Basketball Without Borders camp took place in
Europe in July 2001. Vlade Divac (Serbia) and Toni Kukoc
(Croatia), together with former teammates from the Yugoslav
national team, reunited to work with 50 children from Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia and Montenegro at La Ghirada in
Treviso, Italy.
BWB Europe 2018 will also include NBA Cares community outreach
efforts with youth in Belgrade, including packing and
delivering care packages to young people dealing with
illnesses. Nike, a BWB global partner since 2002, will outfit
the campers and coaches with Nike apparel and footwear.
BWB has reached more than 3,300 participants from 130
countries and territories since 2001, with more than 55 former
campers drafted into the NBA or signed as free agents. A
record 24 former BWB campers were on opening-night rosters for
the 2017-18 season, including Milos Teodosic (L.A. Clippers;
Serbia; BWB Europe 2001).

The NBA and FIBA have staged 55 BWB camps in 34 cities across
27 countries on six continents. More than 260 current and
former NBA, WNBA and FIBA players have joined more than 200
NBA team personnel from all 30 NBA teams to support BWB across
the world.
