C’est Sous Le Haut Patronage de Sa Majesté Le Roi Mohammed VI, Que Dieu Le Glorifie,
que nous avons le privilège et l’insigne honneur de nous réunir, aujourd’hui, pour notre
4ème congrès.
Nous avons choisi pour ces rencontres, Marrakech, dite « la ville Ocre » ville d’histoire et
de science aux charmes envoûtants et très particuliers.
Les techniques endovasculaires couvrent plusieurs champs de spécialités comme en
temoigne le programme riche et varié
Les progrès en endovasculaire sont de plus en plus nombreux, faisant ainsi de cette méthode
une option de 1er choix. Les progrès vont de pair avec l’éclosion de nouvelles technologies.
Ainsi, au cours de cette reunion, nous aborderons par une lecture faite par le Pr. Yasser
SEFIANI chirurgien vasculaire et medecin conseil auprès de la CNOPS « Les nouvelles
technologies et les enjeux socio-économiques » que représentent celles-ci. D’autres
lectures seront proposées durant le congrès, celle du Pr Alan LUMDSEN de Houston
et president de l’ISEVS, et celles du Pr Frank VEITH de la Cleveland Clinic de NewYork.
Notre devise a toujours été celle de la formation continue : nos jeunes spécialistes, en
formation, ainsi que les cadres techniciens des salles de catheterisme (Manipulateurs de
Radiologie, Infirmiers, Aide soignants) seront à nos côtés durant les 2 journées scientifiques.
Un prix du meilleur poster sera decerné au terme de ces journées.
Et un prix du meilleur Quiz recompensera un de nos jeunes medecins (quiz qui
comportera des questions inhérentes aux communications du congrès ) donc Avis a
nos jeunes spécialistes : soyez présents dans la salle durant ces 2 journées !!
Nous avons aussi, avec le bureau, proposé la création d’un journal bi annuel en ligne,
en anglais : «Vascular & Endovascular News »
Toutes les conférences qui auront lieu au cours du congrès seront mises en ligne (en
accord avec les orateurs) sur le site de la SMSE, 1 mois après le congrès.
Nous avons l’immense privilège de recevoir parmi nous, des membres de différentes
sociétés savantes de par le monde : nous les remercions pour leur présence.

Chairwoman’s Message
Dear colleagues,
Under The High Patronage of His Majesty The King Mohammed VI, May God Glorify him,
we have the privilege, and the honour badge, to gather today for our 4th congress.
This meeting takes place in Marrakech, also known as «the Ocher city», city of history
and science with its attractive unique charm.
The Endovascular techniques cover several fields of specialities proved by the rich and
varied program
Progresses in the endovascular are becoming more and more numerous, making as well
of this method a first choice option. Progresses go hand in hand with the emergence
of new technologies
Thus, during this meeting, we will be discussing a lecture entitled «New technologies
and socio-economic challenges» made by Professor Yasser SEFIANI, vascular surgeon
and CNOPS’s medical adviser. Further lectures will be provided during the conference
by Professor Alan LUMDSEN of Houston, the ISEVS President and by Professor Frank VEITH
of the Cleveland Clinic of New York.
Our motto has always been a continuous training: our young specialists in training, and
the technical managers of Catheterism rooms (Radio Manipulators, Nurses, Caregivers)
will be attending the two scientific days.
The best poster prize will be awarded at the end of these days.
Another prize for the best Quizz will awarded to one of our young doctors (a quizz that
will include questions related to conference presentations) therefore we ask our young
specialists: be present in the ballroom during these two days.
Along with the office, we proposed the creation of an English biannual online
newspaper : « Vascular & Endovascular News »
All the conferences that will take place during the meeting, will be posted online (in
agreement with the speakers) on the SMSE website, one month after the congress.
We have the great honour, to have among us, the members of different scholarly
societies from all over the world: we profoundly thank them for their presence.
