Marseille-Cassis
MARSEILLE-CASSIS … A WHOLE STORY
The story has begun on october 28th 1979 with a few hundred participants and continues from 39 years. A real human adventure, Marseille-Cassis
bring together, each year, several thousands of enthusiasts, runners, spectators, volunteers, partners and organizers, all animated by the same
passion and the same desire, try the challenge of a sucessful Marseille-Cassis.
During 39 years, Marseille-Cassis, has made
run a several thousands of enthusiasts and
running lovers. Gathering men and women of
all ages and from all walks of life, the event is a
huge, festive and athletic gathering inside one
of the most beautiful site of the district.
This year, for the 40th anniversary, we're
expecting about 20 000 runners from all
around the world at the start of Marseille-
Cassis.
Real emblem of our territory, Marseille-Cassis
is an unavoidable event, taking part of local
heritage and whose growing fame extends
internationally.

The reception of a huge athelic meeting like Marseille-Cassis involves, our days, the setting up of a village, true place of life, animations, exchanges
and meetings.
Set up to inform runners about the race, this is an obligatory passage and also a real information sharing place, become unavoidable for participants,
organizers and partner of Marseille-Cassis.
This year, our event is getting bigger and should welcome about 20 000 runners and also several thousands of people, accompanying or simple
visitors.

experts is available for runners. They provide optimal support in terms of prevention, race
preparation and advice. (nutritionist, sports science ingeneer, podiatrist, osteopath, sports coach,
physiotherapist, sophrologist and orthopedic surgeon)
