She left Mauritius as a teenager to pursue her dream
of modeling in Europe and the United States, doing a
series of shoots and modelling for prestigious brands.
Later, she opened three restaurants in New York,
namely "The Tartinery" which she recently sold. Today,
with her Alicia Swim collection, Alicia combines
her passion for the ocean and her commitment to
preserving its beauty.
Despite her fame, Alicia remains a simple woman,
close to nature. She often returns to Mauritius to
recharge her batteries and reconnect with the ocean
