The region is also equipped with seven Véligo points,
enabling the safe parking of bicycles at the stations of
Saint-Denis, Épinay-Villetaneuse, La Plaine–Stade de France,
La Courneuve—Aubervilliers and at the métro station of
Saint‑Denis Université, as well as at the parking of the Porte de
Paris and at the Basilique parking (free). Other safe points are
underway and will be soon opening in the stations of Stade de

France—Saint-Denis, Dugny—La Courneuve, Stains—La Cerisaie
and Pierrefitte–Stains. In addition, there will be 4 100 spaces
for bike racks freely accessible in the streets and spread across
the region.
In this urban setting, a large proportion of local trips can be
made on foot. The new developments enable for the region to
become increasingly accessible ‘on foot’: expansion of zones
with reduced traffic, widened and adapted pavements, greener
areas, artistic interventions, better lighting etc.
