What is an election?
It is a process by which
people who are eligible
vote to choose the person who will represent them.
That person will be the Member of Parliament
for the electoral division.
An electoral division
is a territory
with approximately 50,000 voters.
There are 125 electoral divisions
in the province of Québec.

You will vote
for only one of the candidates
running for office
in your electoral division.

in Québec.

Your name must be entered on the list of electors
You must be 18 years of age or older
You must be a Canadian citizen
You must have lived in Québec for at least six months
You must not be under curatorship
or have lost your right to vote
