On August 28, the alignment of the earth with the interstellar object Oumuamua will
open a rare space-time breach through Victoria Park Forest, allowing the observation
of an unknown species living at the threshold of the organic and the digital.

nurturing experience. This installation asks about my impact on forests: the
flagging tape creates a vibrant space but also warns of danger and damage.

Nine Yards Studio is an architecture and design practice located in Charlottetown.
Each year the studio transforms simple, everyday materials and objects into an
inhabitable public space.

An eight-hour movie comprised of 480 establishing shots from cinema and
television, together forming a minute-by-minute portrait of the last eight hours of
the day. This project is located at the Confederation Centre with satellite versions
placed throughout the city.

In the BDSM context, masks are used to provide anonymity, however, the masks worn
here are beaded with designs the wearer identifies with. Danya Danger’s work
explores BDSM as a way of speaking about power dynamics and consent in our
intimate relationships.
Dans le contexte du BDSM, les masques servent à assurer l’anonymat. Cependant, les
masques portés ici se parent de motifs perlés qui identifient ceux qui les portent.

Michelle Sylliboy’s video combines the spoken word, abstracted landscape images and
the L’nu language to speak to the relationship between Indigenous people and
settlers. Drawing on her experiences of racism, Sylliboy questions the promise and
possibility of reconciliation.
La vidéo de Michelle Sylliboy allie la création orale et des images abstraites du paysage

FM radio transmissions from around the earth are captured and paired to their terrain as
viewed by satellite. The diverse collection of climates and cultures are heavily juxtaposed,
resulting in a rhythmic omnipresent survey of our relentlessly surveilled world.
Des transmissions radio FM d’autour du monde sont capturées et jumelées à leur
terrain vu par satellite. La collection variée de climats et de cultures est lourdement

TimeTraveller™ tells the story of Hunter, a 22nd-century Mohawk man who uses his
edutainment system to learn about his heritage. Through a glitch in the system, he
meets Karahkwenhawi, a young Mohawk woman from our time, and together they
crisscross territory and history.
TimeTraveller™ raconte l'histoire de Hunter, un Mohawk du 22e siècle qui utilise son
système ludo-éducatif pour apprendre à connaître son héritage. Grâce à une faille
dans le système, il rencontre Karahkwenhawi, une jeune femme mohawk de notre

GLAM COLLECTIVE
EBB AND FLOW / FLUX ET REFLUX
A curated showcase of media and performance-based work by 6 national and
international Indigenous artists explores the push and pull of the role
technologies (past and present) play in the transmission of Indigenous
knowledges, as well as the call and response between histories and futurities
often present in Indigenous arts. Ebb and Flow considers how Indigenous artists
activate continuities of cultural practice and memory by transforming
performance, customary practices, and design as carriers of intergenerational
knowledge, and by engaging with contemporary dance, music, practice, and
more. In turn humorous, challenging, and transcendent, this projection
installation encourages viewers to contemplate how Indigenous embodied
knowledges about land and water are located in objects, materialities, sound,
languages, and songs as well as bodies.
Vitrine organisée d’œuvres médiatiques et de prestations de six artistes
autochtones nationaux et internationaux qui explorent le rôle des technologies
(passées et présentes) dans la transmission des connaissances autochtones,
ainsi que les appels et les réponses entre les histoires et les avenirs souvent
présents dans les arts autochtones. Flux et reflux examine comment les artistes
autochtones stimulent les continuités de la pratique et de la mémoire culturelles
en transformant les performances, les pratiques coutumières et le design en
porteurs de connaissances intergénérationnelles, et en s'engageant dans la
danse, la musique et les pratiques contemporaines, entre autres. Tour à tour
humoristique, stimulante et transcendante, cette installation de projections incite
les visiteurs à réfléchir à la façon dont les connaissances autochtones sur la terre

ALL SOULS' CHAPEL (7 ALL SOULS' LN)

All Souls' Chapel is an Island sandstone, High Victorian Gothic chapel attached to
St. Peter's Cathedral, situated on the corner of All Souls' Lane and Rochford
Street. Designed by Island architect William Critchlow Harris, its walls are
occupied by 16 paintings by William's brother, Robert Harris. All Souls' Chapel will
be open to the public from 4 to 8 pm.
La chapelle All Souls' est une chapelle en grès de l'île, de style néogothique de
l'époque victorienne, reliée à la cathédrale St. Peter's située au coin de l'allée All
Souls' et de la rue Rochford. Conçue par l'architecte de l'île William Critchlow
Harris, ses murs sont occupés par 16 peintures de Robert Harris, le frère de
William. La chapelle All Souls' sera ouverte au public de 16 à 20 heures.

Government House (Fanningbank), the official residence of the Lieutenant
Governor of PEI, will open its beautifully maintained gardens to foot traffic from
dawn to dusk.
