FESTIVAL PHOTO DE LA GALERIE COMMERCIALE
ATOUT SUD
La 6ème édition du Festival 2016 a eu lieu du 25 mars au 23 avril. Elle a
accueilli pas moins de 18 expositions de grande tenue, allant du club photo
local aux grands noms de la photographie. Elle donne aussi sa chance à de
jeunes talents photographiques, leur donnant l’opportunité d’exposer leurs
oeuvres et de proposer au public leur regard personnel. La vie locale de
la région nantaise n’est pas oubliée, comme le festival de musique Hellfest
vu par 3 photographes régionaux ou les Géants de Royal de Luxe vus par
les Nantais, exposition collective qui retrace la saga des Géants de 1994 à
aujourd’hui.
Ce temps fort culturel est aussi un grand moment de rencontres et de
découvertes ouvert à tous. Citons les rencontres du samedi avec les
photographes exposants, une animation gratuite de portraits de famille ou
entre amis, des ateliers d’initiation à la photographie et des lectures d’images
pour échanger sur les photos des visiteurs.
Le thème du festival 2017 a déjà été annoncé, il s’agit de :

PHOTO FESTIVAL OF THE ATOUT SUD SHOPPING MALL
The 6th edition of the 2016 festival took place from March 25th to April 23rd. It harboured no less than 18 quality exhibitions ranging
from the local photo club of Vertou to the famous names of the photographic world. It also promotes young photographic talents by
giving them the opportunity to exhibit their work and to show their own personal perceptions. The local life of the Nantes area is not
forgotten either, with the Hellfest music festival as seen by three regional photographers or the « Géants de Royal de Luxe » (gigantic
puppets) seen by the inhabitants of Nantes. It is a collective exhibition narrating the Giants’ saga from 1994 to-date.
This cultural highlight is also a great moment for meeting people and discover new things, which is open to all. Namely, the Saturday
venues with the exhibitors, a free family or friend portrait offer, initiation to photography workshops and photo reading sessions of
visitors’ pictures.
