EDITORIAL GRADUAL ENHANCEMENT OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES From 15 December 2019, the Léman Express will give each and every one of us new travel options throughout Greater Geneva and beyond. In total, 45 stations will be connected via 230 kilometres of tracks, making mobility easier for over a million inhabitants. For your daily commute from home to work, your outings with friends or family, your shopping trips or any other journeys, the Léman Express offers you new ways of getting to Nyon, Geneva, Evian-les-Bains, Annecy, St-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet, Bellegarde and the main residential areas of our cross-border conurbation. To make it easier to access the stations and encourage you to use the Léman Express, some new facilities and means of transport will be available to you. Public transport lines will serve the areas around the stations and there will be many parking spaces for bikes and powered two-wheelers, as well as park & ride facilities (P+R) for cars and car-sharing stations. The reality of life in Greater Geneva calls for efficient and pragmatic cooperation between France and Switzerland. We are working together, day in day out, to make your life flow more smoothly. The arrival of the Léman Express is an opportunity to revolutionise mobility in Greater Geneva. After years of work, we are convinced that the results will be well worth the funds invested to improve your mobility and your quality of life in our beautiful cross-border region. 15 DECEMBER END MIDDLE END END END END 2019 OF 2020 OF 2021 OF 2021 OF 2022 OF 2023 OF 2024 Full implementation of Extension Development Extension BRT Extension Extension the Léman Express of tram 14 of the LIHSA of tram 15 Communaux of tram 15 of tram 15 to Bernex- intercity to La ZIPLO d’Ambilly – ZIPLO - to Grand- Reorganisation Vailly network Place des Saint-Julien- Saconnex of the tpg and TAC (Haute- Bus rapid Eaux-Vives en-Genevois Serge Dal Busco Astrid Baud-Roche Gérald Cretegny networks in connection Savoie) transit (BRT) (line 4) BRT State Councillor Regional Councillor President with the Léman Express Gex – Geneva – Ferney- BRT Vernier Republic and Canton President of GLCT Nyon Region New tram line 17 Voltaire Sciez – Geneva (lines 6 of Geneva public transport Annemasse – Eaux-Vives – (line F) (line T71) and 19) Lancy - Pont-Rouge Auvergne-Rhône- BRT Alpes Region Enhanced provision of BRT Carouge – Porte de France the Tango BRT service Veyrier (Saint-Genis- Annemasse Agglo (line T2) (line 21) Pouilly) – Enhanced provision Geneva of the 814 bus service Development (line 68) Gex – Divonne-les-Bains – Coppet of the with a new circuit serving Maconnex – TRANSALIS Versonnex – Sauverny – Grilly cross-border bus lines New bus line 818 Gex – Divonne-les-Bains – Nyon Page 2 Page 3
