Face aux défis mondiaux environnementaux, sociaux et économiques de
plus en plus complexes, la créativité est l’un des outils les plus efficaces
pour redéfinir et transformer nos sociétés. Dans cette perspective, il est
essentiel de favoriser le dialogue entre les deux forces créatives que sont
les sciences et les arts. Depuis toujours, leur rôle a été de comprendre le
monde dans lequel nous vivons et de nous projeter dans l’avenir. L’art,
lorsqu’il explore les nouvelles technologies, est ainsi un formidable mo-
teur d’innovation technologique, sociale, économique et scientifique.
Dans cette optique, la Fondation Fiminco, en partenariat avec le pro-
gramme européen S+T+ARTS (Science + Technologie + Arts) et le labora-
toire de recherche Sony CSL Paris (Computer Science Laboratories), lance
un appel à candidature à destination des artistes plasticiens et visuels de
toutes disciplines, issus du monde entier, en vue d’une résidence de re-
cherche, de création et de production.
La thématique de cette résidence est la suivante :
« Mobilité urbaine : explorer de nouveaux imaginaires ».
L’artiste sélectionné, effectuera une résidence de 5 mois – de janvier à mai
2021 – entre la Fondation Fiminco située à Romainville (Seine-Saint-De-
nis) et le laboratoire Sony CSL, situé à Paris.

With this in mind, Fondation Fiminco, in partnership with the European
