President’s Message Dear Members and Friends of the SSQ, I really cannot believe it is almost the middle of January. Time has gone so fast. We have been busy creating a new www.swiss.org.au/ssq calendar for 2012 and we hope it is to Issue No. 1/2012 everyone’s liking. We start with the Valentine’s Dinner On-line version: Dance on Saturday, 11 February. On http://swiss.org.au/ 3 March we will get together for the “Gemütlicher Abend” clubs/ssq/ (relaxed evening) for a chat and to relax. Don’t miss a new SNQ112OL.pdf event on the 18 March, our Bus Trip! DEADLINE On the the 22 March we have organised a Film and Jass night, For submissions for and on the 1 April the Easter Bunny will visit us. The Jass issue 2/2012: Championship is on 15 April. 9 March 2012 Regular events are on every fortnight. Jass starts on the 12 January and the 19 February is the monthly starting date for the Bushwalks. THE MISSION OF THE SWISS SOCIETY The New members and Helpers BBQ was enjoyed by 46 adults and 11 kids at the Hamilton Ridge BBQ, a lovely Preserve and promote place overlooking the River. It was one of the hottest days in the Swiss heritage November, but we had a lovely breeze and it was certainly and goodwill a nice place to go for an outing.
