• 4000 companies settled on our territory gather the expertise and skills of the whole plant production
value chain:
- from upstream (seed producers, plant breeding, agrobusiness suppliers, machinery)
- to downstream (processing, marketing and distribution)
• 450 researchers, professors and technicians are also part of our cluster, coming belonging to IRHS, INRA,
FNAMS, ADEME, UA, Agrocampus Ouest…
• 2500 students studying plant sciences within more than 25 high education training programs: UA,
AgroCampus Ouest, ESA, Lycée de Pouillé, Lycée de Fresne and Lycée de Montreuil Bellay.

CLIMATE BUILDER - Manufacturer of glass and plastic
greenhouses with full inside equipment to optimize climate
control. Turnkey projects. In 2019, GreenPush is moving
towards the semi-closed greenhouse with a new offer called
GreenPush BioActiv. It has a high-tech climate management
system intended to meet the requirements of professionals and
facilitate the creation of favourable conditions for integrated
pest management.

horticulture, nursery and home gardening, FERTIL is a French
company, industrial and dynamic with a professional know-how.
Products such as FERTILPOT or FERTISS are made in France,
and more precisely Made in Vosges. Indeed, since its origin,
FERTIL has maintained its production in France on its historic
site. Each year, hundreds of millions of young plants are grown
in these products, distributed all over the world. We make a
point of promoting only balanced and effective fertilizers, at the
right dose, especially with NUTRICOTE, TOPCOTE and PLANT-
PROD. We also have a range of horticultural wetting agents like

Hortinergy is an online tool modelling the climate and the
energy consumption of a greenhouse anywhere worldwide. It
includes features such as semi-closed & closed greenhouses,
pad& fan, assimilation light, screens... A comprehensive analysis
is proposed with outputs such as daily minimum/maximum
humidity deficit, PAR reaching canopy, artificial light required…
Hortinergy est un logiciel en ligne permettant de simuler le
climat et la consommation énergétique d’une serre dans le
monde entier. Le logiciel inclut les équipements modernes
comme les serre semi-fermées et fermées, l’éclairage artificiel,
la régulation des écrans...

The international cluster for sustainable plant VEGEPOLYS,
international cluster located in France, represents a unique
territorial aggregation of companies, research and training
centers in the plant sector in Europe. Its aim is to develop its
members’ innovation and competitiveness. VEGEPOLYS is
also the coordinator of the Plant InterCluster network (PIC)
including Greenport West-Holland hosting the annual meeting in
Naaldwijk from June 12 to 13th. VEGEPOLYS R&D CENTRE Within
the International Plant Cluster VEGEPOLYS, the R&D centre is a
private laboratory which helps companies in the creation and
management of their R&D projects. The R&D Centre is located
in the heart of the “Campus du Végétal” a site in Angers which
is dedicated to plant science. The expertise concerns: varietal
innovation, plant protection, nutrition and phytochemistry.
VEGEPOLYS : le pôle mondial du végétal VEGEPOLYS est le
pôle de compétitivité international situé en France, grâce à une
concentration unique d’entreprises, de centres de recherche
et de formation dans le secteur des plantes en Europe. Son
objectif est de développer l’innovation et la compétitivité de ses
membres. VEGEPOLYS est également coordinateur du réseau
Plant Intercluster (PIC) dont la réunion annuelle a lieu à Naaldwijk
du 12 au 13 juin, grâce à l’accueil de Greenport West-Holland.
CENTRE DE R&D de VEGEPOLYS. Au sein du pôle VEGEPOLYS, le
centre de R&D est un laboratoire privé qui aide les entreprises
dans la création et la gestion de leurs projets de R&D. Le
Centre de R&D est situé au cœur du « Campus du Végétal », à
Angers, dédié à la science des plantes. Son expertise porte sur :
l’innovation variétale, la protection des plantes et la nutrition et
la phytochimie.

Food’Loire est un service de la Chambre d’Agriculture des Pays

développement à l’International.
