INTRODUCTION
Orthobroker is a Belgian company established by Patrick Garmyn in 2009.
Decades of experience in the paramedic / orthopaedic sector and in the
international medical device market, allows us offering customers an
excellent service by combining clinical expertise with thorough product and
market knowledge.
Orthobroker supplies its BraceID® brand to other orthopaedic companies in
the EU market specialised in bracing and supports. We develop our braces
and supports, control the manufacturing process and take care of the CE
marking.
In the meantime, we are selling our products in several countries in Europe.
Since recently we also have a joint venture in Shanghai through which we
start selling BraceID® products in the Chinese market.

· Modular system with removable posterior panel and removable side pads.
o Allows the practitioner complete customisation for the treatment according
severity of the problem or during progress in rehab
o Provides comfort and compliance for the patient.
· The BraceID® Lumbo Sacral Orthosis, with rigid anterior and posterior moulded
frames, extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to the T9-Vertebrae.
o Ergonomic posterior panel for more targeted motion control in the area S1-
T9.
o Lateral strength is provided by the rigid lateral pads. These pads produce
intra-cavitary pressure to reduce load on intervertebral discs.
· The compression and lateral strength is created by a mechanical pulley system that
needs to be adjusted by the patient (pulling or releasing the cords)
· The whole concept allows the patient to actively participate in the treatment
protocol. By increasing the intra-cavitary pressure, the patient can reduce the load
(pressure) on the spine.

· L’Orthèse Lombo-Sacrée BraceID®, avec ses panneaux rigides antérieurs et postérieurs,

o Le support latéral est obtenu par des coussins rigides latéraux. Ces coussins

système de traction mécanique qui peut être modifié par le patient lui-même

· A unique and versatile, universal orthosis:
o With its extendable cuffs on the aluminium bars, the brace can be made extremely
short (45 cm) and fairly long (60 cm). It covers a large variety of leg lengths
o The brace is also easily adjustable in thigh and calf circumference.
· Relatively small surface of foam pads improves the aeration of the skin
· These foam pads with anti-slip surface hold the brace quite well in place.
· Hook pieces at the outside of the cuff hold the circumferential straps in place so that
after a first installation the stays remain in place at the back of the leg between the bars
· Convenient buckles facilitate removal and re-application without having to reset for each
application
· Hinge ROM easy to adjust and option to lock in different positions (0°; 15°; 30° & 45°)

· Ultra strong and malleable aluminium structure (4 point principle)
· Contains a poly-centric hinge that imitates the anatomical movement of the knee
· Excellent anti-slip padding prevents excessive migration of the brace.
· Numbered straps ensure a correct fitting of the brace by each patient, time after time.
o Strap 6 has to be removed for the treatment of ACL injuries
· A full set of knee pads in different thickness and shapes allow good adjustment of the
brace according knee width.
· Several flexion (0°, 10°, 20°,30°, 45°, 60°,75°, & 90°) and extension stops (0°, 10°,
20°,30°, 40°) provide the option to control the knee’s range of motion adequately.

Features and Benefits
· The short brace has been developed for people with shorter legs. It guarantees optimal
wearing comfort to the patient without generating any loss of function or stability.
· The use of this device is excellent in combination with a skiing boot.
· Ultra lightweight, strong and malleable aluminium structure (4 point principle)
· A poly-centric hinge imitates the anatomical knee movement
· Thin and comfortable padding prevents migration of the brace while a set of knee pads
in different thickness allow good adjustment of the brace according knee width.
· Flexion (0°, 10°, 20°,30°, 45°, 60°,75°, & 90°) and extension stops (0°, 10°, 20°,30°,
40°) provide the option to control the knee’s range of motion adequately.

· BraceID® Air Ankle is equipped with inflatable and foam cushions so that therapist or
patient can choose for what best fits the circumstances
· The air cushions have been covered with a flannel textile on the skin side, which
improves comfort when in contact with the skin
· Both paddings can be easily switched by attaching them on MicroHook strips on the
inside of the shells. Air cushions are more ideal for use in the acute phase, whereas
foam pads, with a firmer density and lower profile, provide more stability for the
functional phase of the rehab
