NOTICE
CITY OF MONCTON ZONING BY-LAW
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Moncton is
considering amending the Zoning By-Law Z-220.
The purpose of the proposed By-law amendment, being By-law Z-220.16, is to rezone
property at the corner of Mackenzie Avenue and Lorne Street (PIDs 00758177,
00758169, 00758151, 00758144 & 00758136) from NC (Neighbourhood Convenience
Zone) to R2 (Two Unit Dwelling Zone). The proposed rezoning would allow for future
residential development.
The public meeting to consider written objections to the proposed change will be
held on December 20, 2021 at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 655
Main Street, Moncton, NB. Any person who wishes to speak for or against the written
objections is entitled to be heard at the public meeting. Objections shall be addressed
to the City Clerk, 655 Main Street, Moncton, NB, E1C 1E8, or submitted via e-mail at
info.clerk@moncton.ca.
The proposed amending by-law may be viewed by any interested person on any day,
Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., 655 Main Street,
Moncton, NB. Or at https://www.moncton.ca/my-services-law-enforcement-laws-

The Planning Advisory Committee will give its written views to Council on the above
proposed amendment at their regular meeting November 24, 2021 at 5:30 PM
in Council Chambers. Further information regarding the Planning Advisory

Une réunion publique visant à examiner les objections écrites liées aux
modifications proposées aura lieu le 20 décembre 2021, à 16 h, à la salle du conseil de l’hôtel de ville,
655, rue Main, Moncton (N.-B.). Toute personne souhaitant parler pour ou contre les oppositions écrites
a le droit d’être entendue à la réunion publique. Les commentaires ou oppositions doivent être adressés à
la greffière, 655, rue Main, à Moncton (N.-B.) E1C 1E8, ou envoyés par courriel à l’adresse
info.greffiere@moncton.ca.
Le comité consultatif d’urbanisme remettra ses avis écrits au conseil municipal au sujet de la proposition
de modification ci-dessus lors de la séance ordinaire du 24 novembre 2021, à 17 h 30, à la salle du
