Start of the 2021 academic year – Master Programs

This document contains important information. Please read it completely.
General information
• The start of the academic year will take place on September 21, 2021.
• Many courses will be held in person and via streaming (course schedule). Some classes will be recorded.
To find out more about your courses, you should visit the Moodle website of your course.
• The Masters Welcome Evening will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.,
Amphimax 350. Registration required. Live stream link coming soon.
• Stay informed by checking our news channel and the HEC calendars.
• All important information will be sent to your email @unil.ch.
• Consult the Master Website for all questions related to your studies.
COVID certificate and access to classrooms
• For information on access to the classroom and on the COVID Certificate (pass sanitaire), you should
refer to the Plan de protection et d’organisation pour l’enseignement de niveaux bachelor et master,
which will be communicated soon by the Rectorate. A valid COVID Certificate is generally required to
attend classes.
• Keep yourself informed by visiting the following website: https://www.unil.ch/coronavirus/study
• People who were vaccinated abroad and have a foreign certificate must contact their canton of
residence to obtain a COVID certificate valid in Switzerland. For the Canton of Vaud, consult this site.
Registration for exams
• Register for the exams/courses from October 4 to 17, 2021.
• Please note that if you do not register for the mandatory exams, you will lose one attempt.
Official course syllabus
• The official syllabus specifies the examination procedures (handouts, calculator, etc.) for the course.
Click on the course title in the course schedule to access it.
• The Moodle link for the course can be found in the official syllabus.
• Due to health changes related to COVID-19, all syllabi and study plans are subject to change without
notice. Please check back regularly.
