We never buy more than a case of these wines at a time, and when they're gone they're gone…

Sancerre Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Durand, Loire, France 2017 £47
Sauvignon Blanc
Sustainably-produced old vine Sancerre from a family-run estate. Floral, candied citrus and an almost exotic edge,
a long way from most one-note Sancerre.
Condrieu La Combe de Malleval, Domaine Ogier, Rhône, France 2016 £65
Viognier
Textbook Condrieu - ripe apricot and peach, honey and blossom, with bags of texture and weight. Pure
indulgence from the Ogiers, a domaine at the top of their game.

Sauvignon Blanc | Pinot Blanc | Friulano
One of Italy's most prestigious white wines, first produced in 1981, this is exotic, intense and extremely complex.
Definitely one to try.

Lots of ripe red and black fruit and spice. Rich, dense and powerful - classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but made to
be drunk younger.
Ségla, Château Rauzan-Ségla, 2ème Cru Classé, Margaux, France 2010 £80
Cabernet Sauvignon | Merlot
The second wine from Château Rauzan-Ségla is usually a delight and this is no exception. Typical Margaux
aromatics of violets and cassis, light-touch tannins and a lovely freshness. Unusually early adopters of screw cap,
a rarity for Bordeaux.
La Croix de Beaucaillou, 2ème Cru Classé, Saint-Julien, France 2010 £95
Cabernet Sauvignon | Merlot
With lots of sweet dark fruit (cassis and plums), earthy power and liquorice spice, this is dense, round and rich.
Just brilliantly made claret. The striking label is the work of Jade Jagger, Mick's daughter.

The top wine in a collaboration between leading Argentinian producer Nicolas Catena and the
Rothschilds, this pairs typical Malbec sweet blueberry and violet notes with the powerful structure of
ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. 18 months in French oak adds structure and tobacco smoke.

Classic Côte Rôtie from one of the great masters of the region. Rostaing avoids new oak flavours,
