Induction Gala / Gala d’intronisation
On June 1, 2019 family members, friends,
fans and Hall of Famers welcomed Michel
Côté, Frank Henderson, Patricia Nolan-
Edwards, Anne Orser, Allain Roy and
Hermel Volpé into the New Brunswick
Sports Hall of Fame. The inductees shared
stories recounting their defining moments,
cherished mentors, and beloved supporters,
each expressing in their own way, a profound
passion for sport.
Very special thanks to the City of Bathurst
for serving as host community and playing
a role in ensuring that our 50th annual
Induction Gala was a huge success.
During the ceremony, Andrew McLeod,
Chair of the board of governors, announced
that the 51th annual Induction Gala will
be held in Fredericton on June 27th, 2020
and reminded all to save the date for next
years’ event that will be held at the Richard
J. Currie Center.
Le 1er juin 2019, membres de la famille, amis
partisans et membres intronisés ont accueilli
Michel Côté, Frank Henderson, Patricia
Nolan-Edwards, Anne Orser, Allain Roy and
Hermel Volpé au Temple de la renommée
sportive du Nouveau-Brunswick. Les
membres nouvellement intornisés ont partagé
des histoires portant sur leurs moments
marquants, leurs mentors bien-aimés et leurs
partisans dévoués, exprimant chacun à leur
manière, une profonde passion pour le sport.
Un gros merci à la Ville de Bathurst pour
avoir été l’hôte de la 50e édition du Gala
d’intronisation annuel et d’avoir fait de cet
évènement un véritable succès.
Au cours de la cérémonie, Andrew McLeod,
président du Conseil des gouverneurs
du TSRNB, a annoncé que le 51e Gala
d’intronisation annuel aura lieu le 27 juin 2020,
au Centre Richard J. Currie à Fredericton.

This summer we took advantage of the Thursday Garrison summer night markets
organized by the city of Fredericton. We extended our museum hours to 8pm on
those nights and market visitors enjoyed sweet deals on museum admissions!
Cet été, nous avons profité de la tenue du marché en soirée de la garnison
organisé par la ville de Fredericton tous les jeudis. Nous avons prolongé les
heures d’ouverture de notre musée jusqu’à 20h et avons offert aux visiteurs du
marché des promotions alléchantes afin de promouvoir les visites à notre musée!

Ce 1er Août dernier, la ville de Fredericton eut le privilège d’accueillir Jake Allen des blues de St. Louis et la coupe Stanley! Le TRSNB s’est joint
à la célébration en permettant à ceux venus dans l’espoir d’obtenir un autographe, de comparer l’équipement d’Allen à de l’équipement de hockey de
notre collection qui était utilisé autrefois. Plusieurs ont profité de l’occasion pour se faire photographier devant l’équipement du joueur Jake Allen à
notre kioske. Quelques évenements spéciaux ont suivi à notre musée, dont une compétition de tir au but!

at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton. NBSHF’s executive director and the whole team was pleased to be
awarded $150,000 in 2019 towards the organization’s “Building Inspiration” Campaign; thank you again Canadian
Heritage!

Hall of famer Robert “Bob” Kiersted is still very active in
his sports career. Indeed, he had the privilege to be at the
2019 Parapan Games in Lima Peru as a World Shooting
Parasport Licensed Official. Congratulations Bob for
