Universidade de Vigo (UVIGO)
Prof. Dr. Rebeca P. Díaz Redondo (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/rebeca.html) is an
Associate Professor of the Department of Telematics Engineering at the University of
Vigo, and co-coordinates the I&C laboratory (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/) within
AtlantTIC research group. She received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from
the University of Vigo in 2002. Her research is currently focus on emergent semantics,
folksonomies, social network sites and cloud computing applied to different fields,
although she is especially keen on applying this knowledge to the e-learning area.
She has published her research in more than 70 papers in international scientific
journals and about 60 papers in international scientific conferences. She has
participated in 28 scientific projects and in 30 research transfer contracts, some of
them as main researcher. With respect to higher education, she teaches courses
both in undergraduate a postgraduate level at the School of Telecommunication
Engineering, where she has directed the research work of seven Ph.D. dissertations and about 30 Master thesis.
She has coordinated the Erasmus Mundus action 2 project GreenIT for the benefit of the Civil Society and she is
in charge of the academic coordination of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project Green-Tech-WB: Smart and
Green technologies for innovative and sustainable societies in the Western Balkans, both coordinated by the
Universidade de Vigo. Besides, she also coordinates two other Erasmus Mundus Projects at the UVigo,
EuroInKANet: Europe and Latin America Innovation and Knowledge Academic Network, coordinated by the
Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), and E-Gov-Tn: Open Government data in Tunisia for service innovation
and transparency, coordinated by the Université de Nantes (France), being in charge of the general and
academic coordination at the UVigo, respectively. She has also coordinated the Tempus Projects: GO-UNIV:
Renforcement de la GOuvernance dans les UNIVersités marocaines à travers la mise en oeuvre du Code
marocain de bonnes pratiques de gouvernance, coordinated by the Université Hassan II Mohammedia
(Morocco). Finally, Rebeca coordinates the CBHE project MarMOOC : Apprentissage Hybride Mutualisé et
Ouvert dans les Universités Marocaines (2016-2019) and coordinates at the UVIGO the CBHE project Experes :
Les TICE appliquées á l’expérimentation scientifique (2015-2018). She also is participates in the following two
CHBE projects : EVAL : Explotiation des Compétences et Valorisation des acquis (2016-2019) and LMPI : Licence,
Master professionnels pour le développement, l’administration, la gestion, la protection des systèmes et réseaux
informatiques dans les entreprises (2016-2019).
Prof. Dr. Rebeca P. Díaz Redondo (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/rebeca.html) est professeur agrégé du
Département de l'ingénierie télématique à l'Université de Vigo, et co-coordonne le laboratoire I&C
(http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/) au sein du groupe de recherche AtlantTIC. Elle a reçu son doctorat en informatique
à l'Université de Vigo en 2002. Sa recherche se concentre actuellement sur la sémantique émergente, les
folksonomies, les sites de réseaux sociaux et le cloud computing appliqué à différents domaines, même si elle
est particulièrement intéressée par l'application de cette connaissance au e-learning. Elle a publié ses
recherches dans plus de 70 articles dans des revues scientifiques internationales et environ 60 articles dans des
conférences scientifiques internationales. Elle a participé à 28 projets scientifiques et à 30 contrats de transfert

de la recherche, certains d'entre eux en tant que chercheur principal. En ce qui concerne l'enseignement
supérieur, elle donne des cours de licence à l'École de génie des télécommunications, où elle a dirigé les
travaux de recherche de sept thèses de doctorat et environ 30 thèses de master. Elle coordonne actuellement
le projet Erasmus Mundus Action 2 GreenIT for the benefit of the Civil Society et elle est en charge de la
coordination académique du projet Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Green-Tech-WB: Smart and Green technologies
for innovative and sustainable societies in the Western Balkans, tous les deux coordonnés par l'Universidade de
Vigo. D'ailleurs, elle coordonne également deux autres projets Erasmus Mundus à l'Uvigo, EuroInKANet: Europe
and Latin America Innovation and Knowledge Academic Network, coordonné par la Manchester Metropolitan
University (Royaume-Uni), et E-Gov-Tn: Open Government data in Tunisia for service innovation and
transparency, coordonné par l'Université de Nantes (France), étant en charge de la coordination générale et
académique à la Uvigo, respectivement.
Elle a également coordonné à l’Uvigo les projets Tempus: GO-UNIV: RENFORCEMENT de la Gouvernance DANS
LES UNIVERSITES marocaines A travers la mise en oeuvre du code marocain de Bonnes Pratiques de
gouvernance, coordonné par l'Université Hassan II Mohammedia (Maroc).Enfin, Rebeca coordonne le projet
CBHE MarMOOC : Apprentissage Hybride Mutualisé et Ouvert dans les Universités Marocaines (2016-2019) et
coordonne au projet UVIGO CBHE Experes : Les TICE appliqquées à l’expérimentation scientifique (2015-2018).
Elle participe également aux deux projets CHBE suivants : EVAL : Explotiation des Compétences et Valorisation
des acquis (2016-2019) et LMPI : Licence, Master professionnels pour le développement, l’administration, la
gestion, la protection des systèmes et réseaux informatiques dans les entreprises (2016-2019).
Prof. Dr. Ana Fernández Vilas (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/avilas.html) received his
degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo (Spain-UVIGO)
in 1996, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Department of
Telematics Engineering (DET) at the same University in 2002. Nowadays, she is an
Associate Professor of the Department of Telematics Engineering at the University of
Vigo. She co-coordinates the I&C laboratory (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/) within
AtlantTIC research group. With respect to research and technology transfer, she has
written more than 70 papers on international journals and books and about 50
communications to conferences and workshops; she has participated in about 30
industrial contracts. With respect to higher education, she teaches courses both in undergraduate a

Prof. Dr. Ana Fernández Vilas (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/avilas.html) a reçu son diplôme d'Ingénieur en
Télécommunications à l'Université de Vigo (Espagne-UVIGO) en 1996, et son diplôme de doctorat en
informatique du ministère de l'ingénierie télématique (DET) à la même université en 2002. Aujourd'hui, elle est
un professeur agrégé du Département de l'ingénierie télématique à l'Université de Vigo. Elle co-coordonne le
laboratoire I&C (http://iclab.det.uvigo.es/) au sein du groupe de recherche AtlantTIC. En ce qui concerne la
recherche et le transfert de technologie, elle a écrit plus de 70 articles sur des revues et des livres internationaux
et environ 50 communications des conférences et des ateliers; elle a participé à environ 30 contrats industriels.
En ce qui concerne l'enseignement supérieur, elle donne des cours de licence à l'École de génie des

Prof. Dr. Ángel Manuel Sánchez Bermúdez is professor in the field of Chemical
Engineering, from the T04-Chemical Engineering Department at the Universidade de
Vigo. He works at the School of Industrial Engineering. Ángel Sánchez graduated in
Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Santiago de Compostela
in June 1982 and received his PhD in Chemistry from the same Faculty in November
1982. He worked part-time as a teacher in charge of the course level b (partial) of
Chemical Engineering from the 21st November, 1986 to the 30th September 1987. He
began working full time as an Associate Professor D1 of Chemical Engineering from
the 1st October, 1987 to the 31st December, 1989 and as Associate Professor T3-Tc of
Chemical Engineering from the 1st January 1990 to the 30th of September 1990. From the 1st October 1990 to
the 19th January 1993 he held the position of interim senior university professor of Chemical Engineering;
afterwards, until the 27th July, 2012, he was Senior Professor of Chemical Engineering and from the 27th July 27,

2012, he is a Professor of the Chemical Engineering chair. Ángel Sánchez accounts 5 favourable teaching
categories and 3 favourable research categories. Regarding the management positions at the Universidade
de Vigo, Ángel Sánchez has served as the Vice-Rector for Research, within the Vice-Rectorate for Research,
from the 8th October, 1992 to the 30th of April, 1994. From the 16th May, 2000 to the 30th September, 2003, he
served as the Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering and he was also the Director of the Sector
for Innovation, within the Vice-Rectorate for Innovation and Quality from the 16th October 2003 to the 20th
September 2005. Immediately after, he held the position of Vice-Rector for Innovation and Quality until the 27th
June, 2006 and on the 28th June of that year, of Vice-Rector for New Technologies and Quality, until the
17th June 2010. He supervised 46 master final projects from students from the faculties of Engineering and
Mining and Energy Engineering. As for the scientific publications, Ángel Sánchez has published 23 books with
ISBNs, 76 papers in indexed journals, 103 papers at conferences, 53 research projects including 15 as main
researcher and 10 research projects directly funded by companies, 3 national patents.
Prof. Dr. Ángel Manuel Sánchez Bermúdez est professeur universitaire dans le champ de l’ingénierie chimique
(A-555), le département T04-Ingénierie Chimique à l’Université de Vigo. Il travaille à l’Ecole d’Ingénierie
Industrielle dans le campus de Vigo. Ángel Sánchez est licencié en Chimie de la Faculté de Chimie de
l’Université de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en juin 1982 et a obtenu son doctorat en Chimie de la Faculté de
Chimie de l’Université de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle en novembre 1982. Il a travaillé à temps partiel
comme professeur en charge du cours niveau b (partiel) d’Ingénierie Chimique du 21 novembre 1986 au 30
septembre 1987. Il a commencé à travailler à temps complet comme professeur associé D1 d’Ingénierie
Chimique du 1 octobre 1987 au 31 décembre 1989 et comme professeur associé T3-Tc d’Ingénierie Chimique
du 1 janvier 1990 au 30 septembre 1990. Du 1 octobre 1990 au 19 janvier 1993 il a exercé la fonction de
professeur universitaire titulaire par intérim d’Ingénierie Chimique ; après, jusqu’au 27 juillet 2012, professeur
titulaire d’Ingénierie Chimique et dès 27 juillet 2012, il est professeur de la chaire d’Ingénierie Chimique. Ángel
Sánchez compte avec 5 tranches d’enseignement favorables et 3 tranches de recherche favorables.
En ce qui concerne les fonctions de direction à l’Université de Vigo, Ángel Sánchez a occupé le poste de Vice-
Recteur à la Recherche, dans le cadre du Vice-Rectorat à la Recherche, du 8 octobre 1992 au 30 avril 1994.
Du 16 mai 2000 au 30 septembre 2003, il a exercé la fonction de Directeur du Département d’Ingénierie
Chimique et il a été aussi le Directeur du Secteur à l’Innovation, dans le cadre du Vice-Rectorat à l’Innovation
et à la Qualité du 16 octobre 2003 au 20 septembre 2005. Juste après, il a occupé le poste de Vice-Recteur à
l’Innovation et à la Qualité jusqu’au 27 juin 2006 et du 28 juin la même année, Vice-Recteur aux Nouvelles
Technologies et à la Qualité, jusqu’au 17 juin 2010. Il a supervisé 46 projects fin de licence des étudiants des
facultés d’Ingénierie Industrielle et d’Ingénierie Minière et de Ingénierie de l’Energie. Regardant les publications
scientifiques, Ángel Sánchez a publié 23 livres avec des numéros ISBN, 76 articles dans des revues indexées, 103
communications dans des congrès, 53 projets de recherche dont 15 comme chercheur principal et 10 projets
de recherche subventionnés directement par des entreprises, 3 brevets nationales.

Prof. Dr. Domingo Docampo Amoedo. Ph.D. in Mathematics, Universidad de Santiago
de Compostela, 1984. Professor at Universidade de Vigo since 1992. President at
Universidade de Vigo between 1998 and 2006. He has coauthored some 70
international publications in signal processing. His current research interests are
centered around the use of statistical signal processing tools and methods in the
comparative analysis of higher education worldwide.
Prof. Dr. Domingo Docampo Amoedo. Doctorat en mathématiques, Université de
Santiago de Compostela, 1984. Professeur à l’Université de Vigo depuis 1992.
Président de l’Université de Vigo entre 1998 et 2006. Il a rédigé quelque 70
publications internationales dans le traitement du signal. Ses intérêts de recherche
actuels sont axés sur l’utilisation d’outils et de méthodes statistiques de traitement du
signal dans l’analyse comparative de l’enseignement supérieur dans le monde entier.
Eva Garea Oya is the Senior Technician for International Relations at the Universidade
de Vigo since 2000 and EU projects technical coordinator. Her expertise includes the
management of more than 80 EU funded projects. In her daily work as project
manager, she is in charge of funding search, writing project proposals, worldwide
networking and building quality sustainable partnerships, implementing the
approved EU projects, contracting and following up of activities. Liaison with the EU
and funding organizations on behalf of consortia, in charge of the elaboration of
technical and financial reports, organizing international meetings or seminars and
capacity building and dissemination actions, providing training and consultancy for
partners, quality control missions and following of auditing processes, working with local stakeholders and
associated members and offering technical support to university professors. Skills regarding the management of
the following EU programs: Lifelong Learning, Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Jean Monnet, Tempus, Leonardo,
Bilateral Cooperation: EU-Canada, EU-ICI ECP: Australia, Asia-Link, Alfa, Alban, Edulink, Knowledge Alliances,
Erasmus + KA1: international credit mobility, KA2: strategic partnerships and capacity building, KA3, Erasmus +
Sports. At national level, projects financed by the AECID (Spanish Agency for international Cooperation) under
the calls: PCI, CAP, Thematic Networks, and the cooperation for development calls published by the Xunta de
Galicia. She is in charge of the technical secretariat of UVigo Jean Monnet actions: JEA Centre of Excellence,
Ad Personam Chair, 2 Chairs, 14 Jean Monnet Modules and the Learning EU at School and European Culture
projects. Technical general coordinator of EU Erasmus Mundus actions at the UVigo: EMundus Green IT, TECH
WB, E-GOV-TN, Euroinkanet, Dream, Angle, ACP II and Tempus projects (Bihtek with the Western Balkans,
Momate, Go-Univ with the North of Africa). Student & teacher &administrative staff international mobility
expert. Technical coordinator of the mobility programs: ISEP with the USA since 2000, GE4 for Engineering
Schools since 2012, Science without borders with Brazil since 2012, the programme at the UVigo of the Spanish
International Cooperation Agency (AECID) for the admission of foreign students at Spanish universities since

interpreter in court and for companies.
Eva Garea Oya est technicienne supérieure des relations internationales à l'Universidade de Vigo depuis 2000
et coordinatrice technique des projets de l'UE. Son expertise comprend la gestion de plus de 80 projets
financés par l'UE. Dans son travail quotidien en tant que chef technique des projets, elle est responsable de la
recherche du financement, de la rédaction de propositions de projets, de la construction de partenariats
durables de qualité, de la mise en œuvre des projets européens approuvés, de la contractualisation et du suivi
des activités. Liaison avec l'UE et organismes de financement, en charge de l'élaboration de rapports
techniques et financiers, organisation de réunions ou de séminaires internationaux et de renforcement des
capacités et de diffusion, formation et consultation des partenaires, missions de contrôle qualité et suivi des
audits, de travailler avec les parties prenantes locales et les membres associés et offrir un soutien technique aux
professeurs d'université. Compétences en ce qui concerne la gestion des programmes européens suivants:
apprentissage tout au long de la vie, Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Jean Monnet, Tempus, Leonardo, Coopération

René Lastra Cid is a researcher at the Vigo University. Also, he’s in charge of technical
work on European projects for the University of Vigo on International Cooperation in
Higher Education (Renewable Energies and New Technologies), and International
Exchange programs. He obtained the degree in Industrial Technical Engineering at
the University of Vigo in 2015 and master’s degree in occupational risk prevention at
the University of Vigo in 2017.
René Lastra Cid est chercheur à l'Université de Vigo. En outre, il est chargé du travail
technique sur les projets européens pour l'Université de Vigo sur la coopération
internationale dans l'enseignement supérieur (Energies renouvelables et nouvelles
technologies) et les programmes d'échanges internationaux. Il obtient le diplôme en Ingénierie Technique
Industrielle à l'Université de Vigo en 2015 et a complété une maîtrise en prévention des risques professionnels à
l’Université de Vigo en 2017.

Prof. Dr. Roberto Baelo Álvarez is Vice-chancellor for International Affairs at the
University of León. He is PhD in Psychology and Educational Sciences and leader of
the Inter-University Research Educational Group “Edutools”. His teaching and
research activities are linked to promoting the methodological innovations through
the integration of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in
education. He has participated in a large number of research projects financed by
national and international governmental entities. Besides, he has also taken part in
several projects of educational innovation.
All this activities, have been reflected in his publications, related with methodological
innovations, teacher training programs, the integration of ICT in education, as well as
with the counseling, guidance, quality and equity in education, and attention to
diversity. He is part of several scientific committees and editorial boards of both
national and international journals, as well as reviewer.
Prof. Dr. Roberto Baelo Álvarez est Vice-Recteur pour les affaires internationales de l'Université de León. Docteur
en Sciences de la Psychologie et de l'Éducation. Il dirige le groupe éducatif interuniversitaire "Edutools". Ses
activités d'enseignement et de recherche sont liées à la promotion des innovations méthodologiques grâce à
l'intégration des technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) dans l'éducation. Il a participé à
de nombreux projets nationaux et internationaux financés par institutions gouvernementales nationales et
internationales. En outre, il a participé à plusieurs projets d'innovation éducative.
Toute cette activité a été reflétée dans ses publications, liées aux innovations méthodologiques, aux
programmes de formation des enseignants, à l'intégration des TIC dans l'éducation, ainsi qu'aux conseils, à
l'orientation, à la qualité et à l'équité dans l'éducation, et à l'attention à la diversité. Docteur Baelo fait partie
du comité scientifique de plusieurs revues nationales et internationales et il a participé à des conférences et

León, Spain. A Law graduate and MsA in European Integration policies and Industrial
Property Rights. Senior Higher Education expert in Erasmus mobility projects (20 years
of Erasmus activity). Manager of all international exchanges and bilateral
agreements participating as institutional coordinator in the ECTS overall institutional
extension process and the transparency of educational offer and mobility processes
at all study levels. Since January 2014 he leads a newly created office at ULE
devoted to the information, conception, implementation and financial management
of international projects in education, innovation, good practices and
internationalisation. his experience ranges from quality assurance aspects to specific
mobility issues, from curriculum development to strategic project conception. He has
participated in the planning and implementation of more than 25 multilateral
projects related with Higher Education in the last 6 years in following fields of
education and research management, quality, internationalisation of higher
education and Higher Education management. Within these projects he has
implemented a liaison role with the European Commission and its different agencies on behalf of the projects
members; with high skills in the organization of international conferences, seminars and capacity building
programmes. More specifically he has taken responsibility as promoter and co-leader of the egracons.eu
project in student mobility grade conversion transparency tool. Institutional advisor for the implementation of
the Diploma Supplement. Technical, legal and financial advisor for COBEREN academic Erasmus Network 2009-
12, ISLE academic Erasmus network 2010-2013, INTENT Erasmus Multilateral Project 2011-2014, several TEMPUS
and CBHE projects and two Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects. Expert EACEA project evaluator since 2007 with

of several European projects, with experience in managing TEMPUS projects. Project
Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region with a good knowledge of

Prof. Cornel Mihai Nicolescu (Professor Emeritus). Professor in Materials process
technology, chair of the Machine and process technology. Prof. Cornel Mihai
Nicolescu, representing KTH in this project has 30 year experience as teacher and
researcher in Production engineering. He is the Head of division of Machine and
Process Technology and director of the Master Programme in Production
Engineering. He is coordinating similar programmes in the BALTECH Consortium
framework in cooperation with Riga Technical University. He is coordinator for
EPRODE project within Leonardo da Vinci programme. Prof. Nicolescu is
coordonating several EU-project in FP6 and FP7 such as PoPJim and ConfoM-Jet.
Professor Nicolescu has large experience in TEMPUS programmes. Fluent in French.
Prof. Cornel Mihai Nicolescu (Professeur émérite). Professeur en technologie des
procédés de matériaux, président de machine et technologie des procédés. Le
Professeur Cornel Mihai Nicolescu, représentant KTH dans ce projet, a 30 ans
d'expérience en tant que professeur et chercheur en ingénierie de production. Il est le chef de division de la
technologie des machines et des procédés et directeur du programme de maîtrise en génie de la production.
Il coordonne des programmes similaires dans le cadre du consortium BALTECH en coopération avec l'Université
technique de Riga. Il est coordinateur du projet EPRODE au sein du programme Leonardo da Vinci. Le
professeur Nicolescu coordonne plusieurs projets de l'UE dans le 6ème PCRD et le 7ème PCRD tels que PoPJim

where he focuses on the intersections of openness, innovation, technologies and
education. He is author, editor and reviewer of several books and articles on these
subjects and is often invited to speak at workshops and conferences. He is co-
founder of the Open Patent Office which aims to stimulate innovation by providing
an open, free & social alternative to the traditional patent offices. He is co-founder
and was Research & Innovation Director of Chamilo, an association which aims at
bringing you the best Free and Open Source software for e-learning and
collaboration. He contributes as a consultant to ICT in education projects for
universities in developing countries, mainly in Cuba and several African countries. Till the end of 2009 he was
head of an expertise center in his university, focusing on the educational training of academic staff,
educational innovation and the use of ICT in education.

Gustavo Garcia Botero is a researcher in the field of Education Sciences at the Free
University of Brussels (VUB). His professional career has been linked to the teaching of
foreign languages, especially French and English in Colombia, and Spanish in France.
He teaches with new technologies and has conducted educational projects with
MOOCs and social networks, using blended learning methodologies. As part of his
Ph.D. studies, Gustavo is working on the implementation of technologies in language
learning. He focuses currently on the development of models of integration of mobile
technologies in language learning, and he also studies the influence of mobile
technologies in learner self-regulation. His forthcoming publications will address these
issues in the context of developing countries.

Prof. Dr Rossica Betcheva of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy
(UCTM), Sofia, Bulgaria is the Erasmus University Coordinator and the Dean of
International Academic Mobility and Education. Her work is connected with the
active participation of UCTM in EU educational programs – Tempus, Socrates,
Lifelong Learning, Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+. Currently Prof. Betcheva is
coordinating 2 Erasmus+ mobility projects KA10e for academic exchange between
UCTM, Sofia and other EU University and KA107 – Credit mobility project for academic
exchange between UCTM and Universites in China and Vietnam. Together with the
coordination of UCTM international student and staff exchange she has been the
Bulgarian local coordinator for several Erasmus Thematic Network in the field of
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Continuous and Adult Education. Prof. Betcheva has
been coordinating the participation of UCTM in 12 Erasmus Mundus Action 2 consortia for mobility from and to
Universities in Africa (Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria), Asia (China, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand,
Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kirgizstan) and Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia). In 2016 Prof.Betcheva was awarded by the European Association of Erasmus
Coordinators as ERASMUS ACADEMIC MINISTER for her considerable contribution to the Erasmus program during
the last 10 years. The academic activities of Prof. Betcheva are in the field of Textile Chemistry. She is an author
and co-author in more than 100 publications in the field of Textile Biotechnology, Smart Textiles and

Dr. Dimitar Donchev is Associate Professor of Applied Mechanics. His academic and
research interests are in the field of Mechanics of Solids. He teaches courses on
Introduction to Continuum Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials,
Introduction to the Finite Element Method, Technical Mechanics. Currently Dr.
Donchev is Head of Department of Applied Mechanics and Director’of Filière
francophone at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Sofia,
Bulgaria. Dr. Donchev was honored with the award Knight in the Order of Academic
Palms of France in 2013.
Dr Dimitar Dontchev est professeur des universités de 2e classe en mécanique. Ses
intérêts académiques et de recherche sont dans le domaine de la mécanique des
solides. Il enseigne les disciplines : Introduction à la Mécanique des milieux continus, Mécanique des Structures,
Mécanique des Matériaux, Introduction à la méthode des éléments finis. Actuellement Dr. Dontchev, Chevalier
dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques (distinction honorifique française) est chef du département de
mécanique appliquée et Directeur de la Filière francophone à l'Université de technologie chimique et de

Prof. Mitko Georgiev teaches several courses in Inorganic Chemistry at the University
of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy. His research interests are in the field of
synthesis, structure and properties of inorganic salts. He is an author and co-author of
over 100 referred publications and three books. He has been a Vice Rector for
Research and currently he is Rector of the University of Chemical Technology and
Metallurgy, Sofia, Bulgaria.

cours en chimie inorganique à l'Université de Technologie chimique et de
métallurgie. Ses intérêts de recherche sont dans le domaine de la synthèse, la

Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC)
Prof. Pierre Jarraud. Teacher-researcher (mathematics) at the University of Paris 6
became a university Pierre and Marie Curie Sorbonne Universities, I have been
interested for a long time (1985) in the pedagogical uses of computer science in
higher education. I took part in the online university (mathematics coordinator), the
French digital campuses (director of C @ mpusciences) and the French thematic
digital universities (I am one of the creators of Unisciel).
I was interested in both the resources and their pedagogical use, both for face-to-
face support and for distance learning. Since 1985 I have been involved in distance
education. Director of Télé 6, the distance learning center of UPMC, which became
a department of FOAD (Open and Distance Learning), I led the transition from
correspondence education to online education tutored on a training platform.
I was a member and then president of FIED, the International Federation of Distance Education, which brings
together 37 French and French higher education institutions. I was a member of the Board of Directors and the
EADTU (European Association of Distant Teaching Universities).
Having just retired, I am a contributor to UPMC, after having prepared a SPOC project (9) for the first license
annex that my successors at the FOAD A Rauzy and S Bottin Rousseau have developed and put into
production.
Prof. Pierre Jarraud. Enseignant-chercheur (mathématiques) à l'université Paris 6 devenue université Pierre et
Marie Curie Sorbonne Universités, je me suis intéressé depuis longtemps (1985) aux utilisations pédagogiques de
l'informatique dans l'enseignement supérieur. J'ai participé à l’Université en ligne (coordonnateur des
mathématiques), aux campus numériques français (directeur de C@mpusciences) et aux universités
numériques thématiques françaises ( je suis un des créateurs d'Unisciel).
Je me suis intéressé à la fois aux ressources et à leur utilisation pédagogique, tant pour le soutien du présentiel
que pour l'enseignement a distance. Depuis 1985 je me suis impliqué dans l’enseignement à distance.
Directeur de Télé 6, le centre de téléenseignement de l'UPMC, devenue département des FOAD (Formations
Ouvertes et A Distance) j'ai conduit le passage d'un enseignement par correspondance à un enseignement en
ligne, tutoré sur une plateforme de formation.
J'ai été membre puis président de la FIED, Fédération internationale de l'enseignement à distance qui regroupe
37 établissements d'enseignement supérieur français ou francophones. J'ai été membre du conseil
d’administration et du bureau de l’EADTU (European Association of Distant Teaching Universities).
Venant de prendre ma retraite je suis collaborateur à l’UPMC, après avoir préparé un projet de SPOC (9) pour

Prof. Sabine Bottin-Rousseau. Since 2000 I have been an Associate Professor of
Research at UPMC, Section 28. I do my research at the Institut des NanoSciences de
Paris.
Since 2016, I am Director of Open and Distance Learning (FOAD) of UPMC (800
students). UPMC has been licensing mathematics and distance physics for more than
30 years. It also offers a complete course in master of physics and mathematics.
I joined the FEL'1 project in 2015 when I became deputy director of the FOAD. This
project aimed at the realization of 9 SPOC (Small private online course). These
courses, adapted from the MOOC model, are comprehensive, hybrid learning
devices for students of an L1 (PCGI) portal in the first year of the Bachelor of Science and Technology. They
allow the proposal of diversified modes of learning to all the students of our university.
In 2017 and 2018, I obtained funding for two projects: The SAP VIP project, AAP Idex SUPER, Sorbonne
Universities, aims to bring real solutions through the virtual to the difficulties of student mobility by initiating a
virtual mobility within of the LERU. This is an SPOC exchange program associated with European credits. The
project PRADHA, AAP Liscinum, Unisciel: is continuing the development of digital resources in L1 and L2 in order
to reinforce the shift towards hybrid education. It involves the creation of new SPOCs, the creation of a
question bank, accompanied by metadata, which will constitute a coherent set of self-evaluating positioning
tests that can be used continuously at the license level. The final component is the design of practical exercises
to be carried out by students at home.
I also run a pilot project for online exams at UPMC, within the framework of a broader Erasmus + OP4RE project,
for the FIED (interuniversity federation for distance education).
On the research side in Physics, I am the bearer of the ANPHASES project (ANR-M-era.net, 2014-2018), Franco-
German research project on anisotropy of eutectic solidification interface. Since 2006, I have been involved in
the TRANSPARENT ALLOY project: Multi-user ESA Instrument for the International Space Station: Drafting of
specifications / project follow-up / instrument tests / space experiments.
Prof. Sabine Bottin-Rousseau. Depuis 2000 je suis Maître de Conférences Habilité à diriger les recherches, à
l’UPMC, section 28. J’effectue ma recherche à l’Institut des NanoSciences de Paris.
Depuis 2016, je suis Directrice des Formations Ouvertes et à Distance (FOAD) de l’UPMC (800 étudiants). L’UPMC
propose les licences de mathématiques et physique à distance depuis plus de 30 ans. Elle propose également
un parcours complet en master de physique et mathématiques.
J’ai intégré le projet FEL’1 en 2015 quand je suis devenue directrice adjointe des FOAD. Ce projet visait à la

d’apprentissage diversifiés à l’ensemble des étudiants de notre université.
En 2017 et 2018, j’ai obtenue le financement de deux projets : Le Projet S-VIP, AAP Idex SUPER, Sorbonne
Universités, vise à apporter des solutions réelles par le virtuel aux difficultés de la mobilité étudiante en initiant
une mobilité virtuelle au sein de la LERU. Il s’agit d’un programme d'échange de SPOC associés à des crédits
européens. Le projet PRADHA, AAP Liscinum, Unisciel : poursuit le développement de ressources numériques en
L1 et L2 afin de renforcer la mutation vers l’enseignement hybride. Il comporte la création de nouveaux SPOC,
la constitution d’une banque de questions, accompagnées de métadonnées qui constitueront un ensemble
cohérent de tests de positionnement à visée auto-évaluative, utilisables en continu au niveau licence. Le
dernier volet constitue la conception de TP ayant vocation à être effectués par les étudiants chez eux.
