Le nordique s’impose comme un style de vie qui imprime
sa marque jusqu’aux confins des vallées secrètes du Grand-
Bornand.
Au top des plus belles destinations « ski » de France, la station
brille – aussi – pour les 68 km de son domaine nordique où
allier performance physique et contemplation.
Un espace ponctué d’équipements de pointe, à l’image
du stade international Sylvie Becaert, du nom de la double
championne du monde et deux fois médaillée olympique
bornandine de la discipline, siège de la manche française
de coupe du monde de Biathlon Annecy-Le Grand-Bornand
en décembre 2019, 2020 et 2021. Un site tout indiqué pour
s’essayer au tir à 10 ou 50 m, hiver comme été, dans la trace
des champions de l’équipe de France emmenée par Martin
Fourcade.
Les plus aventuriers opteront pour les 81 km de sentiers
raquettes balisés jalonnant vallée du Bouchet et plateaux
ensoleillés du Grand-Bornand Chinaillon.

A group of local traders are behind Aux Comptoirs des Alpes selling
the best Alpine produce in a «new look» deli. Arranged around the
«carnotzet» (a place to socialise, in the local dialect), which serves as a
wine and coffee bar, the stalls are laden with meats and cheeses from
Savoie as well as Switzerland and Italy, organic and hazelnut crozets, a
range of beer from local micro-breweries and a local honey pump. They
reveal the incredible diversity of artisanal food production in the Alps,
in an atmosphere reminiscent of an urban food market.

PLANET BIATHLON IS HEADING TO ANNECY-LE GRAND-BORNAND
Terre d’élection française de la coupe du monde de Biathlon,
dont elle a déjà organisé deux manches en 2013 et 2017,
Annecy - Le Grand-Bornand accueillera à nouveau le grand
rendez-vous mondial du biathlon du 16 au 22 décembre 2019,

En marge de sa pratique libre – dans la limite des
conditions de sécurité propres à toute pratique en
milieu naturel – il est possible de s’essayer au ski de
randonnée au gré des parcours sécurisés mis en place
le long des pistes de ski alpin. Le Grand-Bornand
propose trois itinéraires balisés offrant une vue à
couper le souffle sur la chaîne des Aravis. D’accès
libre, seul l’un des parcours - « La Joyère / Le Chenu » -
nécessite l’usage d’un titre de transport pour accéder à
la gare supérieure de la télécabine de La Joyère, point
de départ de ce circuit.

just like any outdoor sport - you can go ski touring
on secure trails set up along the Alpine ski pistes.
Le Grand-Bornand has three signposted routes with
breathtaking views of the Aravis mountain range. These
trails are open-access and visitors only have to buy
a transport ticket for one of them, the «La Joyère/Le
Chenu» trail, to reach the upper station of the La Joyère
gondola, which is this trail’s starting point.

Il n’y a pas qu’à Annecy qu’on fait sa fête
au lac... Deux éditions de la traditionnelle
« Fête du lac de la Cour » ont lieu chaque
été, en juillet et août. Ambiance musicale
et champêtre, fournissant l’occasion de se
retrouver pour passer un agréable moment
autour d’un brunch au bord de l’eau, et
profiter du coucher de soleil, spectaculaire
depuis ce belvédère au coeur des alpages.
Rendez-vous est pris dès 17h30 et jusqu’à
19h pour l’embarquement sur le télésiège
du Châtelet pour (re)découvrir le lac en
mode guinguette estivale, au terme d’une
petite balade de 15 mn dans les alpages
(prévoir chaussures adaptées et plaid).
Le retour au village, de nuit, se fait aux
flambeaux...
