Plasticien
William Amor trouve l’origine de sa démarche artistique dans le souhait d’amener plus loin le courant actuel de l’upcycling et
mettre l’art au service de l’écologie. William Amor utilise les matériaux délaissés pour imaginer des œuvres artistiques florales
baptisées Les Créations Messagères. Porté par le goût de l’engagement et de l’esthétisme, il métamorphose la pollution
plastique et créé sa signature artistique en développant ses propres techniques empruntées aux métiers d’art. Ces déchets du
quotidien deviennent des pièces d’exception, porteuses de sens et de valeurs. William Amor distille une touche de beauté et
de poésie tout en sensibilisant sur la surconsommation productrice de pollution. Le leitmotiv de William Amor est de créer du
sens et de redonner de la lumière à des valeurs essentielles qui peuvent être négligées dans notre société d'aujourd'hui.
Il y a plus de 10 ans, d'une métamorphose poétique de matériaux plastiques délaissés et abandonnés dans la nature, sont nées les
Créations Messagères. Les déchets plastiques sont un terrible symbole des dérives de notre société et des effets catastrophiques
sur l'ensemble du vivant. C'est une hérésie de considérer une matière indestructible et issue de ressources non renouvelables
comme un matériau à usage unique. Un jugement de valeur qui a de lourdes conséquences. Les créations de William Amor se
présentent comme des messagers poétiques, provocateurs d'émotions et désireux de faire changer le regard que l'on porte
sur les choses. Un déchet plastique peut devenir ce qu'il y a de plus beau et sensuel sur terre : une jolie fleur fragile et gracile.
Les notions d'humanisme sont également au centre de la démarche de William Amor. Il a choisi de faire confiance à un ESAT
accueillant 105 personnes et d'ouvrir ainsi l'horizon des personnes atteintes de handicap en les formant à son savoir faire et à ses
techniques singulières. La Fondation Franco Britannique de Sillery, gestionnaire de l'ESAT, soutient William Amor dans la poursuite
de son projet éthique, porteur de sens et en lien avec les enjeux sociétaux majeurs.

Plastician
William Amor’s artistic work takes birth in the will to take the current upcycling trend further and to place art in the service of
Ecology. William Amor uses wasted materials to invent floral works of art called Les Créations Messagères. Driven by a foundness
for both commitment and aesthetics, he transforms plastic pollution and creates his artistic signature by developing his own
techniques learnt from the art and crafts. This everyday waste turns into exceptional pieces, that carry both sense and values.
While raising awareness among the polluting over-consumption production, William Amor distills a touch of beauty and poetry.
William Amor’s leitmotif is all about creating a meaning and bringing the light to essential values that could be forgotten in
nowadays society.
More than 10 years ago, William Amor’s creations were born from a poetic metamorphosis of abandoned plastic materials
found in the nature. Plastic waste is a terrible symbol of our society excesses and has catastrophic effects on all the living beings.
It is a heresy to consider an indestructible material from non-renewable resources as a single-use material. A value judgment
that has serious consequences. William’s creations then present themselves as poetic messengers, emotion makers and eager
to change the way we look at things. A naughty plastic waste can become the most beautiful and sensual thing on earth : a
pretty, fragile and graceful flower.
The notions of humanism are also at the heart of William Amor’s approach. He chose to open the horizons of disabled persons
by working with an ESAT (a center providing care through employment) which is welcoming 105 people and thus to open the
horizons of people with disabilities by training them in his unique know-how and techniques. The Franco-British Sillery Foundation,
who manages the ESAT, supports William Amor in the pursuit of his ethical project, which is meaningful and linked to major
societal issues.

Pour sa 4e édition, Révélations, la biennale internationale des métiers d’art et de la création
contemporaine portée par les Ateliers d’Art de France, retrouve la Nef du Grand Palais du 23 au
26 mai 2019. Le samedi 25 mai, la maison de ventes Drouot Estimations, Côme Remy, expert en arts
décoratifs du XXe siècle et contemporains, et Charlotte du Vivier-Lebrun, consultante en céramique
contemporaine, présenteront la vente aux enchères «Manière & Matière», consacrée aux arts
décoratifs contemporains.

Initiated by Ateliers d’Art de France since 2013, Révélations is the international fine craft and creation
appointment not to be missed. For its 4th edition, Révélations, takes place at the Grand Palais in Paris
from 23rd to 26th May 2019. On Saturday 25th May, the Auction House Drouot Estimations, Côme
Remy, 20th Century arts & crafts expert, and Charlotte du Vivier-Lebrun, consultant for contemporary
ceramic, will present the “Material & Manner” auction, dedicated to contemporary decorative arts.

MUSÉE DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS EXPOSITION CHRISTIAN DIOR - Paris
William Amor signe une Installation artistique baptisée ‘Jardin de Granville’ dans la vitrine de la
boutique du Musée Les Arts Décoratifs au 107 Rivoli. Une création en résonance à l’exposition
muséale "Christian Dior, Couturier du Rêve". Les déchets plastiques s’ennoblissent en fleurs printanières;
une scénographie messagère des emblèmes floraux, la rose et le muguet, de la prestigieuse maison
de Couture. L’artiste imagine des créations autour du muguet, lovées dans de petites céramiques,
ainsi qu’une collection exclusive de bijoux floraux, broches, boucles d’oreilles, vendus en boutique.
Des créations nées de l’ennoblissement de sacs plastiques et de matèriaux délaissés, et façonnés
à la manière des parruriers floraux.
MUSÉE DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS EXHIBITION CHRISTIAN DIOR - Paris
William Amor designs an artistic installation nammed ‘Granville garden’ in the boutique of Les Arts
Décoratifs Museum in Paris. The unique installation echoes with the museum's exhibition « Christian
Dior, Couturier du Rêve ». Plastic waste turn into blossoms in a meaningful scenography revolving
around the two floral emblems of this prestigious Couture house : the rose and the lily. The artist
imagined creations with these flowers curled up in delicate ceramic frames, as well as an exclusive
floral jewelry collection such as earrings mounted on silver and a series of brooches. The pieces are
designed with unused materials, in the manner of traditional floral parurier.

LES JOURNÉES DU PATRIMOINE 2018 Dans le cadre des journées du patrimoine, les 15 et 16 septembre 2018, William Amor présente une installation artistique à l’hôtel de ville de Paris. Ses fleurs messagères, floraison d’art de la pollution plastique, investissent les salons privés et se mettent en scène dans un décor champêtre. Coquelicots et bleuets délivrent leurs messages à l’ombre d’un arbre aux fleurs sculpturales. William Amor is presenting an artistic installation at the Hotel de Ville of Paris during the European Heritage Days on the 15th & 16th September. His Creations Messageres, blooming art of the plastic pollution, settle in the private lounges, showing themselves in a pastoral decor. Poppies and cornflowers deliver their message, shade from a winding magnolia tree.

KENZO "POUR UN MONDE PLUS BEAU"
Il y a plus de 10 ans, d'une métamorphose poétique de matériaux plastiques abandonnés dans la
nature, sont nés les coquelicots de William Amor. Le coquelicot de William Amor se présente comme un
messager provocateur d'émotion et désireux de faire changer notre regard sur la pollution plastique.
Un déchet plastique peut devenir ce qu'il y a de plus beau et sensuel sur terre : une jolie fleur fragile et
gracile. Kenzo fait appel à William Amor pour réaliser un champ de coquelicots géants, une installation
poétique de 200 fleurs au Palais Brongniart à Paris, en mettant en avant les valeurs de l'upcycling.

More than 10 years ago, born from a poetic metamorphosis of abandoned plastic materials found in
the nature, are William Amor's Poppies. William Amor's poppy presents itself as an emotion maker and
eager to change the way we look at plastic pollution. A naughty plastic waste can become the most
beautiful and sensual thing on earth : a pretty, fragile and graceful flower. Kenzo asked William Amor
to make a giant poppy field, a poetic installation of 200 flowers at the Palais Brongniard of Paris, to

During the Paris Fashion Week, William Amor reveals its new creation "Clematis Rosea
Plasticae", flower signature for the fragrance Eve & Daphnee, a flower mostly created with
plastic materials. The Eve & Daphnee booth is settled at the Tranoi "Only At" space, on the

Ro PLASTIC-MASTER’S PIECES - ROSSANA ORLANDI - MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2019 William Amor réalise une installation pour l'exposition Ro Plastic-Master's Pieces sous le commissariat de Rossana Orlandi, une exposition dans laquelle sont exposées 29 pièces d'exception en plastique recyclé conçues par des artistes, designers et architectes de renomée mondiale. L'exposition a lieu du 6 au 14 avril 2019 au Railway Pavilion du Museo Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci à Milan. William Amor s'associe au projet de Rossana Orlandi "Guiltlessplastic", un projet qui interpelle la
communité du design contemporain et l'enjoint à fabriquer des objets utiles et séduisants, à
l'épreuve du temps et avec un matériau en plastique recyclé afin d'explorer ses possibilités infinies de
transformation. 82 finalistes sont exposés dans les espaces de Rossana Orlandi et un jury international
remettra les Ro Prizes dans 4 catégories le 10 avril 2019.

William Amor associates himself to Rossana Orlandi's project " Guiltlessplastic ", a strong project which
asks the design community to embrace the challenge of designing useful, desirable future-proof

PARIS DESIGN WEEK 2018 A l'occasion de la Paris Design Week, William Amor, artiste spécialisé dans la valorisation des matières délaissées, s’associe avec la designer Marine Peyre pour créer un "Jardin d’hiver" à l'Hôtel Renaissance Arc de Triomphe. William Amor, reconnu pour ses créations florales nées de la métamorphose des matières plastiques, présente une installation artistique de bouquets de tulipes dont la beauté fragile éclipse le caractère brut du matériau recyclé originel. During the 2018 Paris Design Week, William Amor is showing his latest work in collaboration with the French Designer Marine Peyre at the Renaissance Hotel Arc de Triomphe where they specially have created a cosy conservatory. Specialised in valorising forgotten materials, William Amor imagines floral creations born from the transformation of plastic pollution in various meaningful botanical species. Here, he presents an installation with tulips bouquets of which the fragile beauty overshadows the raw primary recycled nature.

LANDMARK A YEAR OF SOMETHING NEW
William Amor, plasticien, est invité par LANDMARK à Hong Kong pour célébrer
le nouveau thème artistique sur l’écologie "A year of something new". Cette
œuvre, basée essentiellement sur le plastique, incarne la surconsommation de nos
sociétés, la prolifération des déchets, et le problème du recyclage. William Amor
imagine une installation porteuse de sens, riche de plus de 200 créations florales en
plastique recyclé. L'artiste dévoile son écriture artistique au travers d'un travail invoquant le
recyclage de déchets et matériaux, métamorphosés via des techniques liées à l'artisanat
français. Les sacs plastiques, bouteilles et autres objets sont ennoblis grâce au savoir-faire
de William Amor et sont réunis dans une installation hors-normes de 13 mètres de hauteur.
William Amor souhaite ainsi sensibiliser les spectateurs sur leur consommation, productrice
de pollution. La réalité de ces morceaux de vie donnent un caractère profondément
poétique à l'ensemble de son oeuvre veritable ode à la rêverie.
LANDMARK A YEAR OF SOMETHING NEW
William Amor, plasticien artist, is invited by Landmark Hong Kong to celebrate a new
artistic theme about Ecology : «A year of something new». This artwork, based on plastic,
enbodies the over-consumption of our societies, the spread of waste and the recycling
issue. William Amor imagines a meaningful installation of more than 200 floral creations
with recycled plastic. The artist unveils his artistic signature through a work involving the
recycling of wastes and materials, using technics and processes familiar with artistic french
artisans. Plastic bags and bottles, marine nets and ropes... are ennobled thanks to William
Amor's savoir-faire and transformed into an outstanding 13 meters high installation. William
Amor wishes to alert the visitors about their consumption, which produces a lot of pollution.
Those tiny pieces of plastic, has a small piece of our lives, give a deep poetical aspect to

A la demande du cabinet Antoinette Guhl / Mairie de Paris, William Amor signe la réalisation
des trophées ''Solidarité Paris Campagne'' et conçoit une série de 10 créations originales : un
tryptique de coquelicots messagers et feuillage aérien. L’artiste réalise également les trophées
''Cap sur l’économie circulaire'', des sculptures fleurs de ‘Clématites’ aux tonalités chaudes
montées sur branches de saule laquées noires.

Commissionned by Antoinette Guhl Agency and the Mairie de Paris, William Amor designed
a series of 10 trophies for the ' Solidarité Paris Campagne' campaign : a triptych of poppies
with an ethereal foliage. William Amor also designed trophies for the ''Cap sur l’économie
circulaire'' campaign representing a 'Clematis' in warm tones mounted on a lacquered black

LES CANAUX MAISONS DES ÉCONOMIES SOLIDAIRES ET INNOVANTES - Paris
William Amor réalise l’oeuvre murale baptisée ‘Fissure florale’ pour Les Canaux, Maison des économies
solidaires et innovantes. ‘Fissure florale’ est une installation conçue par l‘ennoblissement de déchets
plastique abandonnés dans la Nature. Une création imaginée comme une broderie, façonnée
comme un parurier floral. Sacs plastiques, filets et cordages marins se métamorphosent après plus
de 450 heures de travail en une création poétique sculpturale porteuse de sens. L’élaboration des
pétales a été réalisée en collaboration avec les talentueuses personnes handicapées de L’ESAT le
Tremplin.

William Amor designed a mural piece nammed ' Floral breach ' for Les Canaux, Maison des
économies solidaires et innovantes. ' Floral breach ' is an installation made of ennobled plastic

Un décor champêtre parsemé de coquelicots messagers, ‘Papaver rhoeas pollutea‘, et un ‘Prunus petrochimica‘, cerisier messager. Ce dernier est fleuri de plus de 200 fleurs, réalisées minutieusement à la main, montées sur une branche de 3 mètres d’un noisetier centenaire du Jardin des Plantes qui surgit d’une poubelle métallisée. En parallèle avec l’exposition du peintre Henri Fantin-Latour au musée du Luxembourg à Paris,la
Galerie de la Marraine présente l’exposition virtuelle « Après Fantin-Latour» ; des créations d’artistes
inspirées par les oeuvres du maître. Inspiré par les fleurs peintes par Fantin-Latour, William Amor
a interprété une série de fleurs, notamment des roses anciennes blanches, le bouquet de ROSA
PLASTICAE ‘Henri Fantin-Latour’. Utilisant l’un des symboles de la société de consommation - le sac
en plastique jetable - c’est un clin d’oeil à l’époque de Fantin-Latour, le début de l’ère industrielle
du XIXe siècle, à l’heure où l’on prend conscience de la pollution créée par ses excès.
