Present tense

REGULAR VERBS: Remember the endings are added to the stem and you get this by removing the er, ir or re.
EXAMPLE: The stem of regarder = regard finir = fin perdre = perd parler = parl etc. Then add the following

D) Write a short passage (40-50 words) describing what you and your friends or family do to celebrate Easter. Talk

                                                 The past tense (perfect)
This tense is showing something that happened in the past. Again, you add the endings to the stem and some verbs
are irregular. For this homework, we are going to use a list of regular and irregular forms which will help you tackle
most essays.

                                                          The future tense
There are three ways to express the future in French and you can use any in your essay.

3b. Aller is an extremely useful and common verb but it is irregular so you must learn it by heart.

E) Consider at least two sentences you could include about the future and justify your reasons. You can use any of
the forms above but think about talking about someone else also. EXAMPLE: Ma mère et moi allons aller à la piscine
parce que c’est très formidable. In the exam situation, the pool might not fit your title or it might be more appropriate
to say friend than mum but these details are easily changed once you have the structure. So it may become: Mon ami
et moi allons aller en Italie parce que c’est très formidable.

                                      J’habite à Tombouctou au Mali. Comme dans beaucoup de
                                      pays en Afrique, il y a beaucoup de pauvreté chez nous. Il
                                      pleut rarement, donc il est difficile de cultivar les fruits et les
