Music Chapel La Chapelle Musicale prend ses quartiers d’été !
Season 2015-16 La Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth termine son année en point d’orgue : la Garden Party est la première
présentation au grand public depuis l’ouverture de l’Aile de Launoit en janvier dernier. Cette journée du 13
MuCH Music juin est à la fois une occasion de découvrir ou redécouvrir le site de la Chapelle et ses nouvelles infrastruc-
tures et aussi d’apprécier une large programmation musicale pour les petits et grands. A partager donc en
famille !

Discover our new musical series: Voici donc venus les derniers workshops de fin d’année pour une saison 14-15 qui se termine, des jeunes qui
enregistrent l’intégrale de Lalo avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège et d’autres qui partent en
• Laboratory tournée pendant l’été. Quelques présences à mentionner parmi d’autres :
• Violin - Piano - Viola - Cello - Ensemble - Voice (recitals & master class)

• La première de Be With Me Now le 7 juillet au Festival d’Aix-En-Provence, spectacle coproduit par la
• Concerto Chapelle Musicale dans le cadre d’enoa.
• La Chapelle est un invité d’honneur du Festival de l’Eté Mosan les 15, 16 et 17 juillet.
• Prestige
• La Chapelle est à nouveau en résidence d’été dans le Festival Muse Salentine dans les Pouilles avec deux
• Discovery concerts les 27 juillet et 6 août.
• Enfin, après notamment trois concerts au Festival Classissimo les 7, 8 et 14 août, quelques jeunes solistes en
résidence termineront leur session 14-15 aux Musicales de Beloeil le 5 septembre.
La saison 2015-2016 démarrera dès la mi-septembre avec deux nouvelles activités :
• Le lancement d’une nouvelle saison grand public (MuCH Music) de 60 concerts à la Chapelle Musicale,
un véritable tournant dans l’ouverture de l’institution. Le premier concert de la saison aura lieu le 21 sep-
tembre.
• Le lancement du Cercle Chapel, Culture et business, le 17 septembre.
Et sans oublier bien sûr la reprise officielle de la saison académique dès la première semaine d’octobre.
En attendant, passez un bel été, au soleil et en musique si possible !

De Muziekkapel neemt haar zomerintrek!
De Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth beëindigt haar jaar met een daverende finale: tijdens de Garden Party
maakt het grote publiek voor het eerst kennis met de de Launoit-Vleugel sinds de opening in januari jl. Op
13 juni zal men de site van de Kapel met haar nieuwe infrastructuur immers kunnen (her)ontdekken en
eveneens kunnen genieten van een uitgebreid muzikaal programma voor groot en klein. Kortom, een ideaal
moment om te delen met het gezin!
De laatste workshops van dit jaar, nu het seizoen 14-15 op zijn einde loopt, jonge musici die het integrale
werk van Lalo opnemen met het Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège (OPRL), en anderen die deze zo-
mer op tournee vertrekken, naar o.m. de volgende festivals:
• De première van Be With Me Now, op 7 juli in Aix-En-Provence, een coproductie met de Muziekkapel in
het kader van enoa.
• De Kapel is een eregast van het ‘Festival de l’Eté Mosan’, op 15, 16 en 17 juli.
• De Kapel verblijft deze zomer opnieuw op het festival ‘Muse Salentine’ in Apulië (Puglia), met twee
concerten op 27 juli en 6 augustus.
• Tot slot, drie concerten in het kader van het Brussels Summer Festival, ‘Classissimo’, op 7, 8 en 14 augustus,
en enkele jonge solisten in residentie ronden het jaar 14-15 af op de ‘Musicales de Beloeil’, op 5 september.
Het seizoen 2015-2016 gaat van start vanaf midden september met twee nieuwe activiteiten: Music Chapel
• De start van een nieuw seizoen voor het grote publiek (MuCH Music) met 60 concerten op de Muziek-
kapel, een echt keerpunt in de openstelling van de instelling.

The Music Chapel takes up its summer quarters!
The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel concludes its year on a high note: the Garden Party is the first presenta-
tion to the general public since the opening of the de Launoit Wing in January. This event on 13 June will be
the occasion to discover or rediscover the site of the Chapel and its new infrastructure as well as an oppor-
tunity to enjoy an ambitious musical program for young and old. The perfect family outing!
The last workshops of the 2014-15 season are taking place as the year draws to a close; some young artists
are recording the complete works of Lalo with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, while others will
soon set off on tour for the summer months. Some events worth mentioning among others:
• The premiere of Be With Me Now on 7 July at Festival Aix-en-Provence, a show co-produced by the Music
Chapel in the context of enoa.
• The Chapel will be a guest of honor at the Festival de l’Eté Mosan on 15, 16 and 17 July.
• The Chapel will once more be in summer residence at the Muse Salentine Festival in the region of Apulia
with two concerts on 27 July and 6 August.
• Lastly, after three concerts at the Classissimo Festival on 7, 8 and 14 August, a number of young soloists in
residence will conclude their 2014-15 season at the Musicales de Beloeil on 5 September.
The 2015-2016 season will begin in mid September with two new activities:

What does classical music contribute to the modern world? What does it mean
to be a classical musician in today’s internationalized society? Is it possible to

vation) pour le déjeuner de 12h30 à 14h et pour le dîner, si c’est un concert du soir, à partir 19h.
Une petite carte légère (printemps/été) aux saveurs simples et variées ou le lunch du jour sont
disponibles.
Le nombre de couverts est limité afin de respecter l’intimité du lieu.
Tijdens de publieke masterclasses, concerten en examens ontvangt het team van de Foyer u van
12.30 tot 14 uur (mits voorafgaande reservatie). En, voor het diner, als het een avondconcert is,
