Chaque été, depuis plus d’un quart de siècle,
les mélomanes du monde entier se retrouvent
dans les somptueuses Alpes suisses, et participent
aux échanges entre les grands maîtres de la
musique classique et la nouvelle génération

du 18 juillet au 3 août 2019, le Verbier Festival
est de retour pour sa 26e édition, riche de
performances remarquables, d’expériences
musicales inoubliables et de programmes
captivants pour éveiller votre curiosité.
Each summer, for more than a quarter century,
music-lovers from around the world have come
together in the majestic Swiss Alps to take part in a
community of exchange between great masters of
classical music and the most promising musicians
of the new generation. For 17 days, from 18 July
to 3 August 2019, the Verbier Festival returns with its
26th edition, brimming with remarkable mainstage
performances, unforgettable new musical discoveries,
and engaging programmes to quench your curiosity.

Grands maîtres, nouvelles découvertes musicales et panoramas alpins à couper le souffle
modèlent cette 26e édition. Le programme phare du Verbier Festival comprend près de
60 concerts donnés par les artistes les plus célèbres du moment et des talents en plein essor.
La Salle des Combins dévoile ainsi tous les concerts symphoniques et lyriques des trois
orchestres du Festival, les récitals de piano d’Evgeny Kissin et Grigory Sokolov, et deux
soirées non-classiques. Le cadre intimiste de l’Église de Verbier vous invite à assister
aux nombreux concerts de musique de chambre et récitals solo du Festival.
Great masters, new musical discoveries and inspiring mountain vistas are in abundance for this
26th edition. The Verbier Festival’s trademark mainstage programme features nearly 60 concerts by
today’s most revered concert artists and exciting talents on the rise. Salle des Combins hosts all
symphonic and lyrique concerts by the three Festival orchestras, piano recitals by Evgeny Kissin
and Grigory Sokolov, and two non-classical evenings. The intimate Église de Verbier is home to the
Festival’s many solo and chamber music recitals.

The Verbier Festival is an important stepping stone in the careers of today’s most talented young
