• Inclusion criteria :
– Ischemic or non-ischemic cardiomyopathy
– LVEF 20%-50% and LVESD ≤70 mm
– Moderate-to-severe (3+) or severe (4+) secondary MR
– NYHA functional class II-IVa (ambulatory) despite a stable OMT
– At least one HF hospitalization within 12 months and/or a BNP ≥300 pg/ml* or
a NT-proBNP ≥1500 pg/ml*

– severe secondary mitral regurgitation (regurgitant volume > 30
ml/beat or effective regurgitant orifice > 20 mm2)
– LVEF 15-40%
– and chronic heart failure symptoms (NYHA II, III or IV)
• Exclusion criteria : candidates for mitral-valve surgery

trop altéré, faut il prescrire un médicament qui :
1. Diminue la mortalité à un an
2. Diminue les ré hospitalisations à 2 ans
3. Améliore la classe fonctionnelle NYHA
4. Améliore la qualité de vie et le 6MWT
5. Augmente l’index cardiaque
