FONDATION ANESVAD ANESVAD FOUNDATION
La Fondation Anesvad est une ONG indépendante et
non confessionnelle fondée en 1968 à Bilbao (Pays
Basque, Espagne) engagée dans la réalisation et la
promotion du Droit humain à la Santé et en
cohérence avec la stratégie des Soins de Santé
Primaires (SSP).
Anesvad Foundation is an independent and non-confessional NGO founded in 1968 in Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain)
committed to the realization and promotion of the human right to health and in line with the strategy of Primary
Health Care (PHC).

• Le travail de Anesvad est centrée dans la lutte contre les Maladies
Tropicales Négligées (MTN) qui affectent les populations vivant dans les
conditions les plus vulnérables. The work of Anesvad is centered in the fight against Neglected Tropical
Diseases (NTDs) which affect populations living in the most vulnerable conditions.
• En particulier, notre but c´est de contribuer au contrôle, à l’élimination
et à l’éradication des MTN en Afrique Subsaharienne, surtout celles
présentant des manifestations cutanées:In particular, our goal is to contribute to the control,
elimination and eradication of NTDs in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially those with cutaneous manifestations:
– l´ulcère de Buruli, - Buruli ulcer,
– la lèpre, - leprosy
– la filariose lymphatique - lymphatic filariasis
– ou le pian - yaws
• en priorisant les populations à faible revenu afin de leurs donner
l’opportunité de vivre en bonne santé by prioritizing low-income

• en suivant une stratégie d'intégration en collaboration avec des acteurs

• L’approche basée sur le Droits Humains souligne que: L’approche basée sur le

• L’approche basée sur le Droits Humains souligne que: L’approche basée sur le Droits

• Le handicap d'une personne est reconnu et respecté en tant
qu'élément de la diversité humaine au même titre que la race ou le
sexe, A person's disability is recognized and respected as an element of human diversity in the same way as race or
sex,
• et le modèle des droits humains traite les préjugés, attitudes et
autres obstacles spécifiques au handicap à la jouissance des droits. and

• Le modèle des Droits Humains attribue en outre la responsabilité aux
gouvernements et à la société de veiller à ce que les environnements
politique, juridique, social et physique soutiennent les droits et la
pleine inclusion et participation des personnes handicapées. The Human
Rights model further places responsibility on governments and society to ensure that the political, legal, social and
physical environments support the rights and full inclusion and participation of people with disabilities.
HISTORIQUE DE ANESVAD EN MATIÈRE DE HANDICAP
HISTORY OF ANESVAD IN RELATION TO DISABILITIES
• Le travail dans le domaine du Handicap commence dans le
contexte de la lutte contre le lèpre en Asie (PIRP Inde,
réinsertion Chine, etc). The work in the field of disabilities begins in the context of the fight against
leprosy in Asia (PIRP India, reintegration China, etc.).
• En Afrique, c´est dans le cadre de la lutte contre l`UB depuis

LIEN ENTRE MTN ET HANDICAP LINK BETWEEN NTD AND DISABILITIES
• Dans le contexte actuel de fin de la Feuille de Route 2020 de
l´OMS et tenant compte que les nouvelles orientations pour
la période 2021-2030 vont prioriser les MTN à manifestation
cutanée nous trouvons pertinents la composante prise en
charge inclusive du handicap. In the current context of the end of the WHO 2020 Roadmap and
taking into account that the new orientations for the period 2021-2030 will prioritize NTDs with skin manifestations, we find
the component of inclusive management of disability relevant.
• En effet, 11 des 20 MTN présentent des manifestations
cutanées et dans ce groupe on peut identifier les suivantes
qui peuvent présenter des handicap: UB, Lèpre, LF,
Mycétome. In fact, 11 of the 20 NTDs present cutaneous manifestations and in this group we can identify the
following which may present disabilities: Buruli ulcer, leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, mycetoma.

l’OMS en tenant compte des approches droits humains, genre et
