A propos de Convergences Créée en 2008, Convergences est une plateforme internationale de réflexion, de mobilisation et plaidoyer en faveur des Objectifs de développement durable et de la construction d’un monde « Zéro Exclusion, Zéro Carbone, Zéro Pauvreté ». Sa mission est de rassembler les acteurs du changement de tous les horizons afin de susciter la réflexion et l’action, de diffuser des bonnes pratiques et de favoriser la co-construction de par- tenariats innovants à fort impact sociétal. Convergences s’appuie sur plus de 200 organisations partenaires, représentées au sein de ses Groupes de travail, pour co-construire le Forum Mondial Convergences, éditer des publications, développer des projets autour de la jeunesse et du numérique, et organiser des débats et rencontres tout au long de l’année en France et à l’international. En 2008, Convergences a été fondée pour incarner une vision et une voie d’avenir : les partenariats multi-acteurs au service d’un
monde plus inclusif et plus durable. Entreprises, investisseurs, acteurs publics, ONG, acteurs de la société civile, et académiques se sont saisis de
notre appel, et au cours des 13 dernières années, le Forum Mondial Convergences et ses Groupes de travail ont été pour eux un laboratoire de l’action
multi-acteurs.
Dans les années qui ont suivi, cette vision est devenue un principe incontournable, placé au cœur de l’Agenda 2030 – avec l’Objectif de développe-
ment durable 17 – adopté en 2015. Dans la continuité de cette prise de conscience à l’échelle mondiale, Convergences n’a eu de cesse de montrer
comment opérationnaliser cette vision, notamment en mettant en valeur les initiatives et les innovations des acteurs de terrain.
En 2015, Convergences et deux organisations de la société civile, ACTED en France et Gawad Kalinga aux Philippines, ont initié une nouvelle dyna-
mique, intrinsèquement liée à la vision d’origine, autour d’un objectif collectif et d’un message fort : la construction d’un monde « Zéro Exclusion, Zéro
Carbone, Zéro Pauvreté ». Le 3Zéro, qui propose une lecture de l’Agenda 2030 et des trois piliers du développement durable, est devenu la pierre
angulaire du travail de mobilisation de Convergences en France et dans le monde entier.
Ces dernières années, le principe d’une indispensable et urgente conciliation des enjeux sociaux, environnementaux et économiques, s’est affirmé
comme un axe central des réflexions et des discours des acteurs engagés dans les transitions, au sein des différents secteurs.
Depuis début 2020, le monde est frappé par une crise sanitaire sans précédent pour notre époque, aux conséquences économiques et sociales déjà
désastreuses. En parallèle, les effets du dérèglement climatique apparaissent de plus en plus hors de contrôle. Les transformations qui permettront
de parvenir à un monde durable et inclusif, mais aussi et surtout pour le plus grand nombre, sont plus indispensables et plus urgentes que jamais.
Pour contribuer à ces transformations, Convergences a pris la décision de faire évoluer le modèle de son Forum Mondial. La ligne éditoriale du Forum
s’axe désormais sur la mise en œuvre concrète des principes du 3Zéro. Ainsi, pour incarner cette nouvelle dynamique, le Forum Mondial Conver-
gences devient le Forum Mondial 3Zéro.
Après avoir porté un plaidoyer pour les partenariats multi-acteurs, Convergences s’attache désormais à porter un plaidoyer pour la conciliation des
enjeux sociaux, environnementaux et économiques. Par ce changement, la fin se substituent aux moyens.
Convergences appelle l’ensemble des structures qui se sont engagées avec elle depuis sa création, et toutes celles qui se reconnaissent dans ses
valeurs, à rejoindre cette dynamique mondiale renouvelée et à œuvrer de concert pour construire un monde « Zéro Exclusion, Zéro Carbone, Zéro
Pauvreté ».

In 2008, Convergences was founded to embody a vision and a roadmap : multi-stakeholder partnerships for a more inclusive and
sustainable world. Businesses, investors, public actors, NGOs, civil society actors and academics took up our call, and over the past 13 years, the
Convergences World Forum and its Working Groups have been a laboratory for multi-stakeholder action.
In the years that followed, this vision became a key principle, placed at the heart of the 2030 Agenda - with Sustainable Development Goal 17 - adopted
in 2015. In line with this global recognition, Convergences has continued to demonstrate how to operationalise this vision, in particular by highlighting
the initiatives and innovations of grass-roots actors.
In 2015, Convergences and 2 civil society organisations, ACTED in France and Gawad Kalinga in the Philippines, initiated a new dynamic, intimately
linked to the original vision, around a collective objective and a sound message: the construction of a «Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty» world.
The 3Zero, which proposes a reading of the 2030 Agenda and the 3 pillars of sustainable development, has become the cornerstone of Convergences’
mobilisation work in France and throughout the world.
In recent years, the principle of an essential and urgent reconciliation of social, environmental and economic issues has become a central theme in the
reflections and discussions of all stakeholders involved in the transitions.
Since the beginning of 2020, the world has been hit by an unprecedented health crisis for our time, with already dire economic and social conse-
quences. At the same time, the impact of climate change is increasingly out of control. The transformations that will enable us to achieve a world that is
sustainable and inclusive, but also and above all for the greatest number of people, are more essential and more urgent than ever.
To contribute to these transformations, Convergences has decided to change the model of its World Forum. The Forum’s editorial line now focuses on
the concrete implementation of the 3Zero principles. To embody this new dynamic, the Convergences World Forum becomes the 3Zero World Forum.
After having advocated for multi-stakeholder partnerships, Convergences now advocates for the reconciliation of social, environmental and economic
issues. With this change, the end replaces the means.
Convergences calls on all the organisations been involved since its beginning, and on all those who recognise themselves in its values, to join this
renewed global dynamic and to work together to build a «Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty» world.
