MESURES D’ATTÉNUATION TARIFAIRES POUR LES USAGERS DU
TRAIN DE LA LIGNE EXO6 DEUX-MONTAGNES – DÈS JANVIER 2020

MODALITÉS DE L’OFFRE ET CONDITIONS D’ADMISSIBILITÉ

1. Description générale des mesures d’atténuation tarifaires
Une mesure d’atténuation tarifaire est offerte par l’Autorité régionale de transport
métropolitain (« ARTM ») aux usagers de la ligne exo6 Deux-Montagnes qui résident dans
le bassin géographique identifié, qui subissent une diminution de l’offre de service en
raison des travaux du Réseau express métropolitain (« REM ») et qui se sont inscrits à la
mesure tarifaire 2018-2019 1 au plus tard le 8 septembre 2019.
Par souci d’équité pour l’ensemble des usagers du transport collectif de la grande région
métropolitaine, un « tarif plancher » a été établi à la valeur du titre mensuel de la Société
de transport de Montréal (« STM »), soit 86,50$ pour le tarif ordinaire et 52,00$ pour les
tarifs étudiant et réduit. La mesure tarifaire ne pourra en aucun cas s’appliquer en deçà
de ce tarif fixé pour chaque mois.
        1.1. Gratuité de la navette ferroviaire
        Les usagers de la ligne exo6 Deux-Montagnes pourront voyager gratuitement à
        bord de la navette ferroviaire entre les gares Deux-Montagnes et Bois-Franc.
        1.2. Gratuité de la navette 964
        Les usagers de la ligne exo6 Deux-Montagnes pourront voyager gratuitement à
        bord de la navette d’autobus 964 de la gare Bois-Franc jusqu’à la station de métro
        Côte-Vertu.
        1.3. Quatre (4) mois de transport gratuit
        Les usagers de la ligne exo6 Deux-Montagnes qui se sont inscrits au plus tard le
        8 septembre 2019 à la mesure tarifaire 2018-2019, et qui sont abonnés à OPUS+
        ou OPUS+ entreprise ou qui s’abonneront à l’un de ces deux programmes
        d’abonnement pourraient obtenir jusqu’à quatre (4) mois de l’année 2020
        gratuitement, soit les mois de janvier, février, mars et avril 2020. Les usagers
        pourront également utiliser les services de la STM (autobus et métro) sur l’ile de
        Montréal.

2. Modalités des mesures d’atténuation tarifaires

1La mesure tarifaire 2018-2019 donnait droit, aux usagers admissibles, à une réduction tarifaire
pouvant aller jusqu’à 30% sur la tarification des titres mensuels TRAIN et TRAM.

Cette offre tarifaire est réservée aux usagers de la ligne exo6 Deux-Montagnes résidant
dans le bassin géographique identifié et inscrits à la mesure tarifaire 2018-2019 au plus
tard le 8 septembre 2019.

       2.1 Quatre (4) mois de transport gratuit

   •   Pour bénéficier des quatre (4) mois gratuits de janvier à avril 2020 d’une valeur
       mensuelle équivalente à 86,50$ pour les tarifs ordinaires et 52,00$ pour les tarifs
       étudiant et réduit, l’usager doit détenir un abonnement OPUS+ ou OPUS+
       entreprise valide.
           o Les usagers déjà abonnés ou qui y souscriront entre le 11 novembre et le
               10 décembre 2019 obtiendront les mois de janvier à avril 2020
               gratuitement.
           o Les usagers qui souscriront entre le 11 décembre 2019 et le 10 janvier
               2020 obtiendront les mois de février à avril 2020 gratuitement.
           o Les usagers qui souscriront entre le 11 janvier et le 10 février 2020
               obtiendront les mois de mars et d’avril 2020 gratuitement.
           o Les usagers qui souscriront entre le 11 février et le 10 mars 2020
               obtiendront le mois d’avril 2020 gratuitement.
           o Les usagers qui souscriront à l’abonnement après le 10 mars 2020 ne
               recevront aucune gratuité dans le cadre de la présente mesure tarifaire.
   •   Les usagers qui souscrivent à un abonnement OPUS+ ou OPUS+ entreprise pour
       la première fois devront se créer un compte client sur le site web d’exo.
   •   Les informations suivantes seront exigées : nom et prénom complets,
       coordonnées complètes, date de naissance, informations de paiement.
   •   L’usager dûment inscrit recevra par courriel une confirmation de son adhésion à
       l’abonnement. Une nouvelle carte OPUS lui sera transmise par la poste vers le 20e
       jour du mois précédant sa prise d’effet.
   •   En adhérant au programme OPUS+ ou OPUS+ entreprise, l’usager bénéficiera de
       nombreux avantages.
Particularités pour les usagers déjà abonnés à OPUS+ ou OPUS+ entreprise

   •   Les usagers déjà abonnés qui souhaitent bénéficier des 4 mois gratuits (janvier à
       avril 2020) doivent modifier leur titre de transport actuel en accédant à leur compte
       client sur le site Internet d’exo avant le 10 décembre 2019. Un courriel confirmant
       la modification du titre de transport sera transmis à l’usager et une nouvelle carte
       OPUS lui sera postée pour le mois de janvier 2020.
   •   Pendant cette période, le compteur de mensualités payées, lequel sert à identifier
       le 12e mois gratuit offert dans le cadre du programme d’abonnement OPUS+, sera
       suspendu. Le calcul reprendra dès le mois de mai 2020.
Les usagers admissibles, et qui utilisent le transport local par autobus pour se rendre aux
gares Deux-Montagnes, Grand-Moulin ou Sainte-Dorothée de la ligne exo6 Deux-
Montagnes, pourront conserver leur titre d’abonnement TRAM à une valeur réduite de
86,50$ pour un tarif ordinaire ou 52,00$ pour les tarifs étudiant et réduit. Au moment de

créer ou de modifier leur abonnement OPUS+ ou OPUS+ entreprise, ils devront saisir le
code unique inscrit sur le feuillet qu’ils auront reçu au débarquement de leur autobus.

Avis aux usagers

•   La carte OPUS n’est pas transférable : elle sera systématiquement enregistrée dans
    le système OPUS par un agent autorisé au nom de l’usager inscrit à la mesure.
•   Fournir des informations erronées dans le but d’obtenir une réduction tarifaire
    constitue de la fraude et est passible de poursuites pénales.
•   Toute personne ayant fourni des informations erronées pourrait voir sa carte OPUS
    désactivée et ne pourra pas bénéficier de la réduction tarifaire.
•   La mesure tarifaire ne peut être jumelée à aucune autre offre tarifaire.

En soumettant leurs informations, les personnes remplissant un formulaire sur les
mesures d’atténuation tarifaires acceptent l’énoncé de confidentialité d’exo et acceptent
que l’information soumise soit mise à jour dans leur dossier client du système informatique
du Système intégré de vente de titres et de perception des recettes de transport en
commun (système OPUS) ou qu’un nouveau dossier client soit créé.
L’ARTM se réserve le droit de modifier, de suspendre ou de révoquer cette offre tarifaire
sans préavis.

FARE MITIGATION MEASURE FOR EXO6 DEUX-MONTAGNES TRAIN
LINE USERS – AS OF JANUARY 2020

TERMS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OFFER

1. General Description of the Fare Mitigation Measure
A fare mitigation measure is being offered by the Autorité régionale de transport
métropolitain (the “ARTM”) to exo6 Deux-Montagnes train users who reside in the
catchment area for the line and who experience a decrease in service due to works on the
Réseau express métropolitain (the “REM”) and who registered for the 2018-2019 2 fare
mitigation measure by September 8, 2019.
In the interest of fairness for all transit users in the Greater Montréal Area, the base fare
was established based on the cost of a monthly pass for the Société de transport de
Montréal (the “STM”), i.e. $86.50 for the regular rate and $52.00 for student and reduced-
rate passes. Under no circumstances will the fare mitigation measure be applied at a rate
lower than these monthly fares.
        1.1. Free Rail Shuttle
        exo6 Deux-Montagnes train users may travel for free on the rail shuttle between
        the Deux-Montagnes and Bois-Franc train stations.
        1.2. Free 964 Shuttle
        exo6 Deux-Montagnes train users may travel for free on the 964 shuttle bus from
        Bois-Franc train station to Côte-Vertu métro station.
        1.3. Four (4) Months of Free Transit
        exo6 Deux-Montagnes train users who signed up for the 2018-2019 fare measure
        by September 8, 2019, and are subscribed to OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise, or
        who sign up for one of these two programs, may obtain up to four (4) months free
        in 2020: i.e. January, February, March and April 2020. Users may also use STM
        services (bus and métro) on the Island of Montréal.

2. Terms of the Fare Mitigation Measure
This fare mitigation offer is restricted to users of the exo6 Deux-Montagnes line who reside
in the catchment area for the line and signed up for the 2018-2019 fare measure by
September 8, 2019.

        2.1 Four (4) Months of Free Transit

2The 2018-2019 fare mitigation measure entitled eligible users to a fare discount of up to 30% off
the price of a monthly TRAIN or TRAM pass.

•   To obtain up to four (4) free months of transit in 2020 (January to April), at the
       equivalent cost of $86.50 for the regular rate and $52.00 for the student and
       reduced rates, the user must be an eligible OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise
       subscriber:
           o Users who are already registered or who subscribe between November 11
               and December 10, 2019, will obtain the months of January to April 2020 for
               free.
           o Users who subscribe between December 11, 2019, and January 10, 2020,
               will obtain the months of February to April 2020 for free.
           o Users who subscribe between January 11 and February 10, 2020, will
               obtain the months of March and April 2020 for free.
           o Users who subscribe between February 11 and March 10, 2020, will obtain
               the month of April 2020 for free.
           o Users who subscribe after March 10, 2020, will not receive free transit as
               part of the current fare mitigation measure.
   •   Users who subscribe to OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise for the first time must create
       a customer account on the exo website.
   •   When subscribing, users must provide the following information: their full name,
       mailing address, date of birth and payment information.
   •   Duly registered users will receive an email confirming their membership. A new
       OPUS card will be sent to them around the 20th day of the month prior to it taking
       effect.
   •   By subscribing to the OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise program, the user will benefit
       from numerous advantages.
For new OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise subscribers, the monthly payment timer used to
calculate the 12th free month in the program will begin at the end of the free months, if
applicable, i.e. May 1st, 2020.
Details for Users Who Are Already Subscribed to OPUS+ or OPUS+ entreprise

   •   Users who are already subscribers and wish to take advantage of the four (4) free
       months (January to April 2020) must modify their current fare by logging on to their
       customer account on the exo website before December 10, 2019. The user will
       receive an email confirming the fare modification and a new OPUS card will be
       sent by mail for the month of January 2020.
   •   During this period, the monthly payment timer used to calculate the 12th free
       month in the OPUS+ programs will be suspended. The timer will begin again
       starting May 2020.
Eligible users who take local bus transportation to get to the Deux-Montagnes, Grand-
Moulin or Sainte-Dorothée train stations on the exo6 Deux-Montagnes line may continue
to maintain their TRAM fare at the reduced cost of $86.50 for a regular pass or $52.00 for
student and reduced-rate passes. When creating or modifying their OPUS+ or OPUS+
entreprise membership, they must enter the unique code found on the leaflet they received
at their bus stop.

Notice to Users

•   The OPUS card is not transferable and will be systematically registered in the OPUS
    system by an authorized agent with the name of the user who is registered for the fare
    mitigation measure.
•   Providing false information in order to obtain a fare mitigation measure constitutes
    fraud and may be subject to criminal prosecution.
•   Anyone who provides incorrect information could have their OPUS card deactivated
    and become ineligible for the discount.
•   The fare mitigation measure cannot be combined with any other fare mitigation
    measure offers.

By submitting their information, individuals who complete the fare mitigation measure form
agree with the exo privacy statement and agree to have the information updated in their
customer file in the integrated system of public transit ticket sales and revenue collection
(the “OPUS system”) or to have a new customer file created.
The ARTM reserves the right to amend, suspend or revoke this fare mitigation measure
offer without prior notice.
