The ISOJOINT is formed from a cellular elastomer core
surrounded with ISO 770 Anti-wave fabric.
The ISOJOINT has an attractive appearance, is easy
to install and insulates zones which are likely to let
RFID waves through.

CASE STUDY
Situation:
Our customer develops RFID read/write tunnels for different applications.
In most cases, these tunnels are installed on conveyors which may or may not be motorised.
To prevent RFID waves from spreading outside the tunnels, they want to shield the entry and exit strip
curtains.
Constraints:
The constraints are those of a harsh industrial environment.
The objects may still be hot when they pass through the tunnel (approximately 50°C), therefore the ambient
temperature does not exceed this temperature but the objects come into contact with the curtain.
Expectation:
Shield the strip curtains with 30dB attenuation with a theoretical lifetime to be specified.
Isocover solution:
Strip curtain shielding with ISO 770 fabric that meets the M1 standard.
Attenuation to 60dB.
The thread used to attach the fabric to the strips can withstand temperatures up to 200°C and is highly
resistant.
The theoretical lifetime is 10 years.

Situation :
Notre client développe des tunnels de lecture/écriture RFID pour différentes applications.
Dans la majorité des cas, ces tunnels sont installés sur des convoyeurs motorisés ou non.
Afin d’éviter une propagation des ondes RFID à l’extérieur des tunnels, il veut blinder les rideaux à lanières
en entrée et en sortie.
Contraintes :
Les contraintes sont celle d’un environnement industriel sévère.
Les objets peuvent être encore chaud lors du passage dans le tunnel (environ 50°C) donc la température
ambiante ne dépasse pas cette température mais les objets entrent en contact avec le rideau.
Attente :
Blinder les rideaux à lanières avec une atténuation de 30dB avec une durée de vie théorique à préciser.
Réalisation Isocover :
Blindage des lanières de rideaux avec le tissu ISO 770 répondant à la norme M1.
Atténuation à 60dB.
Le fil utilisé pour fixer le tissu aux lanières supporte des températures pouvant aller jusqu’à 200°C et est
très résistant.
La durée de vie théorique est de 10 ans.
