UNA LUNGA TRADIZIONE CALZATURIERA
Il calzaturificio BICAP viene fondato nel 1979 dal sig. Giuseppe Battaglia, dopo una lunga esperienza di 30 anni acquisita nella
commercializzazione di calzature per il tempo libero.
Nel 1989 i cinque figli del fondatore, seconda generazione di imprenditori, costituiscono il Calzaturificio 5BI, dinamica azienda che
dalla produzione artigianale delle origini dedita alla produzione di calzature sportive, calzature da trekking, doposci, calzature da
calcio e calcetto, si trasforma presto in una vera e propria realtà industriale, permettendole di affermarsi in ambito internazionale
come azienda leader nella produzione di calzature da lavoro a marchio registrato BICAP.
L’orientamento alla qualità nella scelta delle materie prime e l’innovazione tecnologica attraverso l’utilizzo di avanzati sistemi di
automazione industriale, consentono di realizzare un prodotto basato su di un mix di esperienza e tecnologia, tutto rigorosamente
MADE IN ITALY.
La sede operativa del Calzaturificio 5BI si sviluppa su una superficie totale di 30.000 m² nella zona industriale di Barletta con una
potenzialità produttiva di 9.000 paia al giorno per un totale di circa due milioni di paia prodotte all’anno.
Oggi, l’azienda continua la sua tradizione, attraverso la gestione imprenditoriale di seconda e terza generazione.
SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE
L’azienda in un’ottica di un minor impatto ambientale ha robottizzato l’utilizzo dei distaccanti in fase di iniezione suole.
Tale miglioria tecnologica ha ridotto di circa l’80% la dispersione nell’ambiente di tali sostanze, che resta controllata grazie all’utilizzo
di cappe d’aspirazione con filtri speciali.
EN A LONG HISTORY IN SHOES TRADITION
In 1979 Mr. Giuseppe Battaglia founded the Shoes Company BICAP, after more than 30 years of experience in athletic
shoes production.
In 1989, Mr. Battaglia’s 5 sons created the Shoes Company 5BI, a dynamic company active in athletic, trekking and
football shoes production. In a short time the company became and industrial reality and began discovering new
markets around the world and working in international business as a leader in safety shoes production with its registered
brand BICAP.
The company is strongly oriented in raw material selections and in innovation of technology by using the most modern
industrial systems. All this allows to create a product based on a mix of experience and technology all MADE IN ITALY.
The 5BI shoes factory covers a surface of 30.000 m² in the industrial area of Barletta. Shoe production reaches 9.000 pairs
per day for a total of 2 million pairs per year.
Today the company continues its tradition thanks to the second and third generation’s management team.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
The company to improve the environement impact use robotized release agents during sole injection.
Thanks to this technology improvement shedding have been reduced of 80% which remain under control with special
filters and aspiration system.

UNE LONGUE TRADITION DE FABRICATION DE

CHAUSSURES
La fabrique de chaussures BICAP a été fondée en 1979
par Giuseppe Battaglia, après sa longue expérience de
travail, pendant 30 ans, dans le domaine du commerce
des chaussures pour le loisir.
En 1989, les cinq fils au fondateur, faisant partie de
la deuxième génération d’entrepreneurs, ont créé la
Fabrique de Chaussures 5BI.
C’est une entreprise dynamique qui, depuis ses origines,
s’est dédiée à la production artisanale de chaussures
de sport, de randonnée, d’après-skis, de football et de
football en salle.
Au cours des années elle s’est transformée dans une
véritable réalité industrielle qui lui a permis de s’affirmer,
au niveau du marché international, en tant que société
leader dans le domaine de la production de chaussures
de sécurité pour le marque BICAP. L’orientation à
la qualité, dans le choix de matières premières, et
l’innovation technologique, à travers l’utilisation
d’instruments avancés de développement industriel, lui
permettent de réaliser un produit basé sur un mélange
d’expérience et technologie.

Le siège opératif de l’entreprise 5BI s’étend sur une
surface de 30.000 m2 dans la zone industrielle de Barletta
et a une capacité de production qui atteint aujourd’hui
9000 paires de chaussures par jour, pour un total de
deux millions de paires réalisés par an. Aujourd’hui,
l’entreprise continue sa longue tradition, grâce à l’activité
d’entrepreneur de deuxième et troisième génération.
DÉVELOPPEMENT SOUTENABLE
L’usine, dans le but d’un mineur impact
environnemental, a automatisé l’usage des matériels de
détachement en phase d’injection semelles.
Cette amélioration technologique a réduit d’environ le
80% la perte dans l’environnement de ces substances.
Ceci est de tout façon dans tous les cas pour tout
utilisation de hottes d’aspiration avec filtres spéciaux.

La fábrica de calzados BICAP fue fundada en el 1979
por el Señor Giuseppe Battaglia después de una larga
experiencia de 30 años adquirida en la precedente
empresa especializada en la comercialización de
calzados deportivos.
En el 1989, los cinco hijos del fundador costituyen la
fábrica de calzado 5BI, dinámica empresa acitva en
la producción de zapatos deportivos, botas aprés
sky, zapatos de fútbol, zapatos de trekking. En breve
la empresa se convierte en una importante realidad
industrial reconocida en el mercado internacional como
líder en la producción de calzados de trabajo de marca
registrada BICAP.
La elección de materias primas de primera calidad e
el utilizo de avanzados sistemas de automatización
industriales, permite crear un producto basado en una
mezcla de experiencia y tecnología, todo MADE IN ITALY.
La sede operativa de la fábrica de calzado 5BI se extende
por una superficie de 30.000 m² en la zona industrial de
Barletta y tiene una potencialidad productiva de 9.000
pares al día por un total de alrededor dos milliones de
pares realizados al año.
Hoy la compañía sigue su tradición a travės de la gestión
empresarial de los herederos de la segunda y tercera
generación.
DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE
Con la finalidad de reducir el impacto ambiental, la
empresa ha robotizado el utilizo de desmoldeantes en
fase de inyección de las suelas. Esta mejora tecnológica
ha reducido la dispersión de estas sustancias en el medio
ambiente en un 80% aproximadamente, que permanece
controlado gracias al uso de campanas extractoras con
filtros especiales.
