Located in the city centre of Luxembourg, the Institut français in Luxembourg is dedicated to promote the French language and culture. You wish to learn French, to perfect your practice of French, to be prepared to a competition exam? The IFL offers you a quality training, flexible, tailored to your needs and personal assets. Our francophone and experienced teachers are qualified to teach French as a mother tongue, as a foreign language, professional French, and for specific purposes. With more than 200 learners each year, the Institut français in Luxembourg is the best reference to learn French in Luxembourg. The IFL carries out actions in educational cooperation in close partnership with schools in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. It proposes a cultural offering throughout the year. PRIVATE TUITION The Institut français in Luxembourg offers general individual French courses, tailored-made for adolescents and adults. Courses for adults are classroom training or e-learning via Skype (contact us). Private tuition offers a targeted training according to your abilities. Our flexible formulas allow you to select the dates, times and the courses frequency according to your schedule. FEES FOR PRIVATE TUITION GENERAL FRENCH* 15 modules = €660 (one module corresponds to 45 minutes) 20 modules = €880 25 modules = €1,100 Possibility of private tuition in pairs: €75 for 60 minutes The IFL also offers French courses for specific purposes from the level B2.2 : - legal French - medical French - business French - training for the competitive entrance examination to the public service - preparation for the competitive examination into prestigious universities Please feel free to consult us for any quote request For any course fees borne by your company, the corporate rate shall apply (see page 9) * Travel expenses outside Luxembourg-City: €0.19 / km 3
INTENSIVE GROUP COURSES The IFL proposes intensive group courses (60 hours) throughout the year. The courses cover the learning of French, regardless of your level, from complete beginners to advanced. Courses from A1 to C1 are compliant with the CEFR and compatible with a preparation to DELF-DALF examinations. They are offered 3 hours per day over 4 weeks in our premises. Levels groups are composed by 3 to 5 learners. CONVERSATION WORKSHOPS You want to improve your fluency in French? You want to be able to express your opinions on daily life topics, economic, social or cultural issues and any other subjects you wish to address? We offer you 12-hour group conversation workshops, for two levels: B1-B2 or C1-C2. SUMMER CAMPUS You wish to progress quickly and use your free time skilfully during the summer? Validate one level in one month! From level A1 to C1, the Summer Campus brings together participants from the same level wishing to upgrade skills in French. The course is designed for the public from 16 years old. Level groups are composed by 3 to 5 learners from all parts of Europe, which improves valuable linguistic and cultural exchanges. WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN NEW ! 1. PRIVATE TUITION The IFL offers FLAM or FLE workshops in your home for your children from the age of 6. Workshops are individual or with siblings (consult us). These courses are customised and flexible. The programme is designed in accordance with the needs of your children. Children are supported in a personalised and rigorous way throughout the training. 2. GROUP COURSES Your children keep a link with the French language through a playful and creative programme. Learning practices are focused on the acquisition and proficiency of the spoken French and the gradual discovery of the written French. Your child will learn in a group consisting of 3 to 5 pupils. On the basis of a community or association, you provide the premises and time slots, we select highly qualified teachers for training throughout the year. IN-COMPANY LANGUAGE TRAINING To meet the challenges of the business world, IFL proposes : – Intensive and standard individual courses targeted to the expectations of your company. – Intensive or standard group lessons of 5 persons maximum to ensure the perfect learning conditions. These courses are aimed to strengthen linguistic proficiency in French on a professional level in order to improve exchanges and advancement within the company. For your convenience, our trainers come to your offices*. HOW TO ENROL ? Before registration, we invite you to read carefully our general terms and conditions which are available on the Internet site in French and English. 1. REGISTRATION Please send application for registration by email to : cours@institutfrancais-luxembourg.lu 2. ONLINE TEST Prior to attending a group course, you need to take a placement test* in order to be part of a group corresponding to your level.** The test proceeds as follows : – online assessment – oral interview via Skype Fees : €20 3. BENEFITS Any registration allows you to get free access to our online resources platform Culturethèque. * Except for beginners and persons holding a level certificate of less than 12 months. ** Warning: the IFL reserves the right to cancel a course for which the number of registrations is not enough; the online test placement may not guarantee to attend a group course. In this case, fees applicable to the placement test shall not be reimbursed by the IFL. 10
