DEEPER CONNECTIONS
Is this the year you explore Deeper Connections
with the natural world?
Working with school educators, a FortWhyte Alive Educator
develops a customized outdoor-inquiry-based learning program.
This is not a one-time field trip to FortWhyte Alive. Most Deeper
Connections programming happens in natural spaces both at
FortWhyte and at or around your school. Teachers and students
learn about the local ecology, developing a stronger sense of
community.

Pricing and scheduling are adapted to fit school
needs. Contact education@fortwhyte.org for

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT FORTWHY TE ALIVE

Do you know a friend, colleague, or family member who...
• Wants to use their skills and experience working with children and youth?
• Is a new graduate looking for teaching experience
• Is newly retired and looking for a way to give back and stay active?
• Loves the outdoors and sharing their passion?

Each season, FortWhyte Alive recruits a team of passionate
volunteers to lead students of all ages in unforgettable
outdoor experiences. FortWhyte volunteers are the kind
people who help kids roast their first marshmallow over an
open fire, or teach them the difference between an aspen and a
spruce tree. These are the moments we live for! Leading school
groups is also a great way to meet people, and learn new skills
– all while staying active. Training starts September 4.

Become part of our of volunteer community at

N’oubliez pas que nous cherchons aussi des bénévoles
bilingues pour nos programmes!
