THE BEACHES Restaurants, children activities, practical information, essential viewpoints, or small stories...Discover the six beaches situated along the inDeauville territory in the following pages. Each of them has its own, sometimes surprising, atmosphere: familiar, adventurous, sportive, scientific, Californian...make your own choice ! WATER UNDER PERMANENT SUPERVISION The quality of water is a real challenge on seaside territories. The Deauville Coast is subjected to careful care. In 2009, the “Communauté de Communes Cœur Côte Fleurie” was rewarded with a certification label for the good management of bathing water. It has implemented its own management system complementing the supervision of the “Agence Régionale de la Santé” (ARS). The principle: controls are based on the microbiological quality of water. From June to September, 20 samples per beach are taken and analysed by the ARS. Moreover, the Communauté de Communes Cœur Côte Fleurie daily supervises the quality of bathing water. Holidaymakers can find all information about the quality of bathing water at the aid posts or on www.coeurcotefleurie.org. Fly over the inDeauville coast -3-

Zone de baignade Plage Ouest Plage des Goblins Av Michel d’Ornano Towards Villers-sur-Mer Vers Villers-sur-Mer ON THE SEASIDE In Blonville sur-Mer The beach of Blonville-sur-Mer is quite big! It stretches over 2 km and includes four different areas. Right after Bénerville, it stretches right under the cliffs. The Laforge beach, situated in the city centre, is bordered by small planks leading to a children’s club and a sailing club. Here, you can rent cabins, beach umbrellas and deckchairs. The Goblins beach is the departure point to the west towards the marshes and the natural walks. The west beach, relatively narrow, goes along Villers-sur-Mer, where another history begins. Throughout summer, activities take place on the sand, including castle contests or photographic challenges… Access The beach is accessible from the following roads: rue de Hoinville, rue Louise, rue Laforge, boulevard Marcelle Lechanteur, rue Pierre Jacquot, rue Chevalier, avenue Michel d’Ornano (in front of the beach camping and the marshes). You’ll find parking places in the roads reaching the beach and the perpendicular roads. These are places where you can park for free. You can find a car park in the blue parking area between rue Jean Duchemin and avenue Michel d’Ornano next to the Centrale chemistry and the Market square .
