Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à l’annuelle « Journée de recherche du DFME »
Cette journée a pour but de :
   -   Présenter des travaux de recherche touchant la femme, la mère et l’enfant réalisés
       au sein du DFME
   -   Offrir un espace de discussion interdisciplinaire
   -   Découvrir des possibilités de synergie et de collaboration au sein du département
   -   Encourager et soutenir les jeunes collaborateurs à développer des activités de recherche
   -   Informer tout public des différentes activités de recherche dans ces domaines
   -   Renforcer la place de la recherche dans le département

Nous espérons vous accueillir nombreux et nous nous réjouissons d'ores et déjà de partager avec vous,
cet important moment pour la recherche.

Conférencier : Professeur Micah M. Murray
Micah M. Murray a obtenu un double diplôme BA à l'université Johns Hopkins (1995). Il a obtenu son
doctorat avec mention en neurosciences à l'Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yeshiva University (2001).
Il a travaillé comme post-doctorant à l'Hôpital universitaire de Genève, en Suisse. Depuis 2003, il a occupé
un poste académique au CHUV-UNIL dans les départements de radiologie, de neurosciences cliniques et
(depuis 2015) d'ophtalmologie. Depuis 2008, il occupe un poste de professeur adjoint à l'Université
Vanderbilt (Nashville, TN, USA). Il est le directeur fondateur du Laboratoire des Investigations
Neurophysiologiques (LINE) et directeur du section EEG CHUV-UNIL du CIBM Centre d'imagerie
biomédicale. Pr Murray a bénéficié de nombreuses subventions du FNS, ainsi que de nombreuses autres
subventions de fondations et de l'industrie. Parmi ses nombreuses distinctions, Pr Murray est le lauréat
de prix de la Fondation Leenaards, de la Société suisse de psychiatrie biologique, et de la Ligue suisse du
cerveau. Il occupe actuellement des postes de rédaction à Brain Topography (rédacteur en chef),
Neuropsychologia (rédacteur de section) et Current Biology (comité de rédaction). Pr Murray est l'auteur
de plus de 190 articles et chapitres de livres avec un h-index de 55. Son programme de recherche est axé
à la fois sur le développement de nouvelles techniques non invasives d'imagerie et de cartographie du
cerveau et sur la compréhension des mécanismes de perception et de cognition dans la santé et la maladie
tout au long de la vie. Ses travaux ont non seulement conduit à de nouveaux schémas d'organisation
fonctionnelle du cerveau, mais aussi à de nouvelles stratégies de diagnostic et d'intervention pour les
dysfonctionnements cognitifs en utilisant les processus sensoriels comme point d'accès.
