SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

As part of this ambition, we are recruiting a Senior Project Manager for our headquarters in Brussels. In close
collaboration with the partners, your role will be to lead administrative, technical and financial aspects in the
different phases of construction projects (including budgets, planning and execution) until final acceptance. You
will work on private and public projects from 2 to 50M euros in and around Brussels.
The function includes the following responsibilities
• The senior Project Manager acts as a technical and human bridge by driving high quality projects in due
time and within the budget frame.
• He has a general view on the total project life cycle: from inception to completion. During the
preliminary design phase, the PM will act more as a consultant, during the design and construction
phase, the PM will act more as a Project Director.
• Alongside the partners, assist and lead the work of junior project managers.
• He/She will install, lead and follow-up the following aspects of a project:
o Analysis of the client’s requirements,
o Give advice and assist the client in the set-up of the design team,
o Interacts and negotiates with various stakeholders at different levels: client, financial partners,
technical teams, architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, local authorities…
o Coordinates and lead the design team with a critical analysis of the proposals from the
architects, engineers, contractors, consultants…,
o Give frame estimations of the global costs of the project,
o Budgets studies and value engineering,
o Organizes the tenders,
o Cost and schedule control,
o Risk assessment: environment, building permits, time schedule, etc….
Your profile
• You are a civil engineer, industrial engineer or architect with proven records of 10 years+ expertise on
at least one 15 million Euro project.
• You find yourself in the values of our organization.
• Willing to act as a freelance.
• “Solutions finder” and good understanding of technical, financial and administrative aspects of the
projects.
• Able to take initiatives and responsibilities.
• You have a pragmatic mentality: you dare take problems in hand and you adapt to changing situations.
• You have the sense of initiative and like to work in a team.
• Fluent in French, Dutch or English.
• IT proficiency: especially MS Project and Excel.

CHEF DE PROJET SENIOR

Dans le cadre de cette ambition, nous recrutons un(e) chef de projet senior pour notre siège à Bruxelles. En
étroite collaboration avec les associés, votre rôle consistera à gérer les aspects administratif, technique et
financier dans les différentes phases des projets de construction (dont les budgets, le planning et l’exécution) et
ce, jusqu’à la réception définitive. Vous travaillerez sur des projets privés et publics de 2 à 50 millions d’euros
dans et autour de Bruxelles
La fonction comprend les responsabilités suivantes :
• Le chef de projet senior agit comme un pont technique et humain en pilotant des projets de haute
qualité en temps voulu et dans le cadre budgétaire.
• Il a une vision générale du cycle de vie total d’un projet. Pendant la phase de conception préliminaire,
le PM agira davantage comme consultant; pendant la phase de conception et de construction, le PM
agira davantage comme directeur de projet.
• Aux côtés des associés, il assiste et dirige le travail des chefs de projets juniors.
• Il / Elle installe, dirige et assure le suivi des aspects suivants d'un projet:
o Analyse les besoins du client,
o Conseille et assiste le client dans la constitution de l'équipe de conception,
o Interagit et négocie avec différentes parties prenantes à différents niveaux: clients, partenaires
financiers, équipes techniques, architectes, ingénieurs, entrepreneurs, collectivités locales…
o Coordonne et dirige l'équipe de conception avec une analyse critique des propositions des
architectes, ingénieurs, entrepreneurs, consultants…,
o Donne des estimations-cadres des coûts globaux du projet,
o Réalise les études budgétaires et « value engineering »,
o Organise les appels d'offres,
o Contrôle les coûts et les horaires,
o Evalue les risques : environnement, permis de construire, calendrier, etc.
Votre profil
• Vous êtes ingénieur civil, ingénieur industriel ou architecte avec une expérience avérée de 10 ans +
expertise sur au moins un projet de 15 millions d'euros.
• Vous vous retrouvez dans les valeurs de notre organisation.
• Vous avez la volonté d'agir comme indépendant.
• Vous êtes «Chercheur de solutions» et avez une bonne compréhension des aspects techniques,
financiers et administratifs des projets.
• Vous êtes capable de prendre des initiatives et des responsabilités.
• Vous avez une mentalité pragmatique: vous osez prendre les problèmes en main et vous vous adaptez
à des situations changeantes.
• Vous avez le sens de l'initiative et aimez travailler en équipe.
• Vous parlez couramment le français, le néerlandais ou l'anglais.
• Vous avez des compétences informatiques, et en particulier MS Project et Excel.

In het kader van deze ambitie, werven we een senior projectmanager aan voor ons hoofdkantoor in Brussel. In
nauwe samenwerking met de partners bestaat uw rol in het verlenen van de administratieve, technische en
financiële aspecten in de verschillende fasen van bouwprojecten (inclusief budgetten, planning en uitvoering)
tot de definitieve oplevering, U zal werken aan private en publieke projecten van 2 tot 50 miljoen euro in en rond
Brussel.
De functie omvat de volgende verantwoordelijkheden
• De senior projectmanager fungeert als een technische en menselijke brug door hoogwaardige projecten
op tijd en binnen budget aan te sturen.
• Hij heeft een algemene visie op de totale levenscyclus van een project. Tijdens de voorbereidende
ontwerpfase zal de PM meer als consultant fungeren; tijdens de ontwerp- en bouwfase zal de PM meer
als een projectmanager fungeren.
• Samen met de partners assisteert en regisseert hij het werk van de junior projectmanagers.
• Hij/zij zal de volgende aspecten van een project installeren, leiden en bewaken:
o Analyseert de klantbehoeften,
o Adviseert en assisteert de klant bij de samenstelling van het ontwerpteam,
o Beheert de interactie en onderhandelt met verschillende stakeholders op verschillende
niveaus: klanten, financiële partners, technische teams, architecten, ingenieurs, ondernemers,
lokale gemeenschappen…
o Coördineert en begeleidt het ontwerpteam met een kritische analyse van de voorstellen van
architecten, ingenieurs, aannemers, adviseurs, enz.
o Geeft ramingen van de totale kosten van het project,
o Voert budgetstudies en "value engineering" uit,
o Organiseert aanbestedingen,
o Controleert de kosten en planningen,
o Evalueert de risico's: milieu, bouwvergunning, kalender, enz.
Uw profiel
• U bent burgerlijk ingenieur, industrieel ingenieur of architect met een bewezen ervaring van 10 jaar +
ten minste één expertise van een project van 15 miljoen euro.
• U herkent zich in de waarden van onze organisatie.
• U hebt de wil om als onafhankelijke te handelen.
• U bent een "oplossingszoeker" en hebt een goed begrip van de technische, financiële en administratieve
aspecten van projecten.
• U bent in staat initiatieven en verantwoordelijkheden te nemen.
• U hebt een pragmatische mentaliteit: U bent in staat de problemen in handen te nemen en U past U
aan veranderende situaties.
• U hebt zin voor initiatief en werkt graag in teamverband.
• U spreekt vloeiend Frans, Nederlands of Engels.
• U hebt computervaardigheden, en met name MS Project en Excel.
